  1. Knowing what I do about Moyes, I'd be absolutely staggered if he went near it.
  2. Such a bizarre argument. By that logic he can literally never be held accountable for results. If he's unable to work to a reasonable standard under a system that isn't going away, that's more reason to get rid rather than keep. People in England really struggle with the idea of a Director of Football system despite it being the norm, even at some English clubs. Personally I prefer the manager to have a lot more say but not if he's Alan Pardew.
  3. Aye you're right, I was thinking that QPR was the last game of the season and that Wigan had been relegated in the previous midweek against Arsenal but of course it wasn't, we still had the exciting home clash with Arsenal to come ourselves. Surprised I don't remember such a thriller. "I couldn't care less if Arsenal win 4-0"
  4. Why don't journalists pick up on basic stuff like this and correct them? Isn't that part of their job? I've noticed a lot of people in the media, and the last remaining Pardew supporters, have completely forgotten that season. The fact we survived by the skin of our teeth thanks to a Bosingwa balls up with a squad consisting of Ba, Cabaye, Cisse, Ben Arfa etc. We were already safe by the time we played QPR like but I still think we would've gone down if Swansea, who'd been on the beach for months, hadn't somehow come from behind to win at Wigan a week or two earlier. We'd have bottled it if we'd needed to beat QPR.

  6. This is it like, everyone hates Ashley but I don't know how dim you'd have to be to genuinely believe that the football wouldn't improve with a boss who has a perma-positive attitude to the game, there'll be plenty out there waiting for their chance. Another point I'd make is Stuart Pearce at Forest is suddenly doing a fantastic job. Wouldn't have wanted him here but sometimes a manager is just perfect for a particular club. Pardew couldn't possibly be less of a fit for NUFC.
  7. Looks like he's been kipping in a Darras Hall skip.

A lot of people seem to believe that the results of elite sport are dependent on what mood the crowd are in.
  9. It's not from NE5's, nobody's posted there in years.
  10. Don't listen if you have high blood pressure.
  11. I hate "he hasn't been able to buy his own players" Imagine if he fucking was! How's Darren Bent getting on since Pardew wanted him last summer again?
  12. Ah must have been Antonio, I didn't have the sound on, either way it was fantastic.

Unfortunately Sky Tyne and Wear is no more so I can't find the video where he rolls out the fucking coffin.

No, that was Graeme Cansdale, the guy who went and took his brick back. Wraith was the vicar pronouncing the death of St Ja... err Willy Wonka. Keep up midds.
  16. Looks a player that lad from Peterborough like. That goal tonight where he brings it down and turns in one movement then bends it in the corner is absolutely sensational.
  17. Incredibly distasteful and crude. Have a word with yourself. Fucking hell.
