It's perfectly feasible that Man City could win absolutely nothing this season.
-
Gawd, Man City have been absolutely dismal.
-
Howay City ffs.

Gutted for him. Our young players really don't have any luck at what should be a key stage in their development. Kadar, Vuckic and now Sammy have all suffered lengthy injuries, even Matty Pattison looked good until he did his knee.

We're much better off putting the money towards ensuring that we retain the services of Demba Ba.
-
I thought he did well. Decent passing, some good strength/hold up play in the middle. The simple stuff really which allowed Cabaye to push up and thus be more influential in the centre. Not sure about his shooting mind. Landed in Leazes Park pond.

I'd be more than happy to see Abeid in there, I thought he was excellent at the weekend.

Rule Q, 1. 10. A Manager shall at all times observe the principles of honesty, transparency, accountability and personal impartiality (whether financial or otherwise) in his dealings involving Player Transaction. 14. A Manager shall conduct himself at all times in an ethical and professional manner and shall observe the highest standards of integrity and fair dealing That doesn't leave much room for interpretation, he's clearly contravening the rules but what's he going to get, a small fine? Barely seems worth it.

Regardless of this issue, short of us winning something, I'm not sure I can think of anything as satisfying in football as Redknapp doing time would be. Won't happen like, slimy cunts like him never get their comeuppance.
-
Me neither tbh. Brady , Gold and Sullivan have probably told him that to which he does his usual moronic thing of going public. Why would any of them know what Ba has been offered? What club signs a player on a free then tells his old club the contract they have offered? West Ham's knowledge of Demba Ba's contract ended with the one they had given him. People talk mate. All it needs is his agent informing Brady and co that they've negiotiated a better deal with Newcastle where you were willing to meet his release clause demands. I'm not sure there were any demands, they were relegated, he was released True but football is corrupt period. Really only Demba, his agent and NUFC should know thee inner details of his contract but in reality probably a lot lot more than that do. My bet is that his previous club were made aware of his contract with you lot when leaving. I very much doubt it's as cut and dry as his agent simply telling them he's joining Newcastle and that's it. Agreed, some very naive people on here if they don't think people in football talk to each other.

indeed. Still i don't get how Redknapp is allowed to say these things. I mean fair enough if you have been leaked details or a player's contract but you should not be allowed to then publicly spill them Because Redknapp is the world's worst at tapping up other clubs' players, that's why. He does it every summer and every January. There he is for the SSN cameras, leaning out of his Range Rover talking about players who play for other clubs. I was whinging on generally in the boozer earlier saying IMO all players (aside from commercial interests) should be represented by the PFA. They get paid, generally an obscene wage ruining football, and IMO it's only going to end in disaster. Totally agree, I don't know why the football authorities have let the situation build into what it has.

Best way to keep players like Demba Ba is to invest in the team to put yourselves in a position where you're the place they want to be instead of the stepping stone. Simply won't happen under this lot and I'd be stunned if he's not away in the summer, along with at least one or two others.
-
Fairly obvious that it exists tbh. I'm just glad he's away.
-
Not even worrying about it. No point.
-
West Ham fan on 606 going mad saying he doesn't want promotion under Allardyce as he doesn't want to see them playing that in the Premiership.
-
There was nothing about the tackle that was dangerous. These things should be judged on the merit of each individual incident, not a series of tickboxes about two feet, off the ground, from behind - the rules don't say anything about any of those things. The rules only say that a red card can be given for "serious foul play". Kompany's tackle could, in no way, be considered to fit that description imo.
-
Bloody typical that we'll probably be playing them yet again with a spring in their step.
-
Odd that he'd say that. Surely just serves to give Wrexham added confidence. Unless he trolls them and plays a full strength side at the last minute. I think the one he played yesterday was the same. "We learnt a lot from plenty of players, especially the young ones. "We were in control in the last 20 minutes and it was a beautiful team to see play. "We have another opportunity next week for the kids to play an important game. There's a chance the whole second team will play."
-
There's a good chance Wrexham will go through too, at home and Poyet has said it'll be mainly, if not wholly, second string.
-
We've got a great chance to go far this year.
-
Bloody terrified.
-
I can't think of anything worse. Would honestly rather get Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, whoever you care to name than them.
-
None of the reports had him down as being booked last night, now they do, I didn't see it like. That's farcical.
