My bet is that his previous club were made aware of his contract with you lot when leaving. I very much doubt it's as cut and dry as his agent simply telling them he's joining Newcastle and that's it. I mean fair enough if you have been leaked details or a player's contract but you should not be allowed to then publicly spill them Because Redknapp is the world's worst at tapping up other clubs' players, that's why. Best way to keep players like Demba Ba is to invest in the team to put yourselves in a position where you're the place they want to be instead of the stepping stone. Simply won't happen under this lot and I'd be stunned if he's not away in the summer, along with at least one or two others.

There was nothing about the tackle that was dangerous. These things should be judged on the merit of each individual incident, not a series of tickboxes about two feet, off the ground, from behind - the rules don't say anything about any of those things. The rules only say that a red card can be given for "serious foul play". Kompany's tackle could, in no way, be considered to fit that description imo.
