Hughton comfortably beating Blackpool at home, whod'a thunk it?

We'll be 8th by Monday night imo. Chelsea.
-
Bloody hell.
-
I'd love to see Boro get promoted, they'd be an absolute disaster. Reckon we'd be looking at another Derby.

Eh ? what on his own player like No, by Koscielny on Wright Phillips, booked the wrong player, leaving Vermaelen at the risk of a 2nd. Well, not anymore cos he's gone off injured. Big blow for Arsenal that, their most important player behind RvP.
-
What's a cross?
-
Martin Atkinson has booked Thomas Vermaelen for a foul by Koscielny. He's a proper fucking mug that bloke.
-
Can't believe he's only 24. I like him.
-
I didn't Krul was to blame at all.
-
good on them for not relinquishing modric Nah, Spurs sell all their players, that's the only reason they're as good as they are.
-
And Coloccini's the perfect example of how, sometimes, no matter how good your scouting is or how much you want "value for money", you have to pay top whack for top class players. We would never sign a player like Colo now, no chance.

I imagine its a one on one Does it count the one he lost with the ref?
-
Where's that from?
-
I'm pretty sure that was Pardew's team talk before the game tbh.

Where did you hear this? .com

I don't think it's hindsight to say that results were better than performances at the start of the season. A few games we were dominant in and played some good stuff - Blackburn, Villa and particularly Stoke, which was a magnificent showing - but there was a lot of games where we: a) looked totally unable to create anything b) got away with a lot of last ditch defending and magnificent goalkeeping, which isn't usually something you can stretch out over a season, if you're conceding chances, at some point teams are going to start taking them and c) got lucky with some very questionable refereeing. A bad run of form like this has been coming, which is why when we were in the ascendancy we should have been trying to bed players like Ben Arfa and Santon in and giving the young players a few minutes here and there, as plenty of people were saying at the time. Instead we clung to a particular XI for as long as possible before things started to go tits up, at which point it's a lot more difficult for the likes of HBA, Santon, Vuckic, Sammy to come in.

He's injured apparently. Shame.

I'd be surprised if you could find anything to back that up. Only thing I could find is Obertan: "Pardew had been following me for a long time. He thought I'd fit in well with the football the team plays, and he really pushed to get me here, even though the negotiations lasted a while."
-
Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he does start Ben Arfa against Man United again, give him just enough rope to hang himself instead of letting him loose on teams that we might be actually try and beat.

Ferguson must have been doped up on some heavy medication or something picking somebody like Welbeck ahead of Berbatov for so long, Welbeck couldn't lace his fucking boots. Great player.

Even if Man Utd win today, they'll want to prove a point next game. Big guns back as well. Couldn't make it up. On the plus side, the fact that they've got to play Man City the following weekend won't do us any harm. He'll be absolutely desperate not to lose that.
-
He tried it against Rooney's free kick when we played Man Utd, leading to Utd players being right on Krul and we ended up conceding a goal from it. That made it so much more frustrating, twice now that we probably wouldn't have conceded goals if we just had faith in a keeper who is one of the best shot stoppers in the league. He didn't, I've just watched it again, it's Steven Taylor who does it against Man Utd so it obviously is something that has been instructed by the manager. My mind can't even begin to comprehend what a stupid fucking tactic that is, to let the opposition be able to stand right in front of the goalkeeper when you're facing a free kick. Staggering incompetence.

"I wanted somebody to take somebody on and be a bit more constructive" He's an absolute joke.
