It's actually ridiculous that Barton isn't playing if you think about it. Nah. Where would England be without Scott Parker?
-
What the fuck is Milner doing? Thick cunt.
-
Should be playing Barton and Nolan tbh. Fucking hell, and Steve Harper.

Hitzfeld. Wonder if he's got his golf clubs with him.

Google translate: Gervinho signing appears imminent announcement in Newcastle on Saturday, Sky Sports. Lille striker could join another player in the LOSC, Yoahn Cabaye among the Magpies from this weekend. The Ivorian striker's agent Lille currently negotiate the final details of his transfer with the leaders of the English team. In operation, the LOSC could pocket 16ME. For the record, Gervinho joined Lille in 2009 paid an average of 6.5 ME at Le Mans. Could the 16m figure not refer to "Lille striker could join another player in the LOSC, Yoahn Cabaye among the Magpies from this weekend."? 16 for the pair?

Owen's problem is that he's a total coward and that's the real reason for all this rather than greed or lack of ambition. He was garbage with us in 08-09 and now he likes to point at what a poor team it was, and plenty buy it because we're just little old Newcastle United - "Owen always puts those away" If he goes somewhere else now where he might actually be trusted enough to get on the field for more than ten minutes, he runs the risk of being found out for what he is, the risk of the media saying "hang on, if he's this shit at Team X, maybe it was him that was utter fucking rubbish at Newcastle" and instead of going down as some sort of English great, a Shearer, a Scholes, he'll go down as someone who was good for a while and absolutely finished before he was out of his mid 20s. I know one thing, he'd fucking shit himself if two of Rooney/Berbatov/Hernandez got injured, wouldn't take long for that hamstring to go again. Spineless shitbag.

Hopefully they'll stay there.
-
N'Zogbia going there would be really bad news.
-
Yeah you're right, ignore that. However I still think if you're going to brighten the ground up a bit, including the concourses, the club has a rich history to take advantage of that's been completely ignored there.

How fucking tinpot is that?! Christ! That's absolutely embarrassing, and right next to the away fans too. Man United will piss themselves, it's hardly the Stretford End. I can only hope it's not really noticeable. I like how they say they've researched the club's history and yet included a piece of commentary from last season, a game we got a point in. Dear me.
-
I wouldn't. Anyone giving that lot money for them two chancers is a bad thing.
-
Fulham have played some good stuff this season. OMFG. I've started turning / changing my tune just in case already His Blackburn were vile. His teams can waste time like no others.
-
Hughes, like his old mate Bruce, is a total fucking snake with not a single ounce of loyalty. His teams play a horrible niggly brand of football to boot.
-
They all sit round the same desk, man. Aye, but they don't share sources. They hate each other apparently. Shut up man, is that true?

His goal against Bradford was similar and probably my favourite of all time. In terms of importance and sheer quality, his best goal is probably his one against Barcelona in 2008. I have memories of Beckham and Scholes doing that corner thing successfully a few times but was it just that once that it worked? Always think of that as a Scholes corner whenever it's attempted.
-
Alex Ferguson losing it ffs. Aye righto.
-
He is/was a model professional like. A few late tackles doesn't take that away. Ability aside, if all footballers had the attitude of Paul Scholes, the game would be infinitely better off. It has always puzzled me why 'boring' is an accusation often levelled at certain footballers, as if it means anything. It's partially the typical footballer's desire not to be seen to be boring, to live it up, that's turned them into such a bunch of money grabbing arseholes who don't spend enough time perfecting their game.

I'm all for different opinions and giving our weaker players the credit they are due when they perform but to claim that Perch has looked 'good defensively' at any point in his NUFC career so far is a blatant lie.
-
One thing that certainly sets him apart from Owen is that he's not very injury prone, very rarely out.
-
Who the fuck wasnt happy when we signed Owen?! Me, Mick, tmonkey.
-
I'm not usually one for signing older players but I'd certainly take Berbatov for the price quoted, absolutely, though I'd want some pace and legs up with him.
-
We look silly just assuming he'd choose us over Everton for no reason other than us being NUFC. They're a big club.
