Diao for a foul before one of our wasted free kicks early on.

It's just easier to say 'knee-jerk' at everything than actually make any relevant points. You'd know. Sorry, never taken any notice of anything you've said. You are? Verlaine being a dullard again. Pain in the backside 'musician' who fancied his own arse a bit? Bingo.

Was odd like, looked like nothing from the Gallowgate end. Looked like nothing on the replays too. Not much contact and didn't seem to land on it with much force at all. Must have hit exactly the wrong spot. not much contact? was right in front of us and looked like no contact at all. They scored from that free kick as well, didn't they? Hit the angle I think.

No, they're the wingers, playing wide it's not their job to be arriving in the box to get on the end of stuff. Does Paul Scholes not arrive in the box and score goals? Frank Lampard? Take a look at Kevin Nolan's Championship season in the centre behind Carroll and Lovenkrands even.

A lot of the back passes were on the Krul's right foot (his wrong foot), but that's no real excuse. Can't say I heard any boos at half time. Given and Harper could/can both use their left foot to clear the ball adequately, it worries me that Krul won't go with his right.

Sorry but your attacking central midfielder should be arriving in the box to get on the end of stuff, unless you think only two players in the squad should be responsible for scoring goals.
-
And yet when they'd do it last year we'd butcher them, by and large. We've changed our attitude to a more cautious one and it's not what we should be doing.
-
Striker. It is Nolan's job to support our striker, not Barton's. It's both tbh.
-
Aye, the time Tiote went off, we were already 2-1 behind. Wrong.
-
Krul was poor imo. Very reluctant to come for crosses, much more reluctant than either Given or Harper have been. Hopefully it'll come with experience. Noticed Barton telling him, as they were preparing to take the free kick from which they hit the angle, to come and clean everyone out. He didn't.

Taking off a defensive player and leaving on an offensive player when we need a goal. Shocking that like. Tiote's not a defensive player from what I've seen so far though, he wins it but also drives us forward (far more than the insipid Barton who is trying to perfect the Nicky Butt aimless chip into the corner). Tiote was absolutely bossing the central midfield imo. Barton was better than Tiote today. Barton's passing was nearly perfect for the whole game. Get away man, he must have played that chip straight out of play about half a dozen times.

Who's saying he should be sacked? Don't take things so literally. Being fair, the same could be said to you. Well... Not really. :-/ My point was regarding the extremes that are drawn in knee-jerk after every match... I'm aware that nobody is LITERALLY calling for him to be sacked. I've already explained why I felt the Ben Arfa substitution wasn't as stupid as people are making out, reactions like "Hughton: fuck off!!!" to a decision that was, in my opinion, more enforced (fitness) than tactical, are cringeworthy as fuck. If he's taking Ben Arfa off because he's knackered though, he should be pulling Nolan off after about twenty minutes.

Correct.

A really dreadful showing, reminiscent of many games at home in the Roeder/Souness days where we take a lead against a shit side, hold it for most of the game without showing any real will to kill it off, then being sucker punched late on. Seem to remember Fulham did it two years running and that they went a year without an away win in between the two. Also very similar to the same fixture in the relegation season, although we went in 2 up at half time then and ended up with a draw. We should be battering these sides on the deck at home but we end up trying to play them at their own game.
-
I really like the guy but he got it badly wrong today. I wasn't happy with HBA going off but withdrawing Tiote was insane.
-
why? 38.5% of all cards are shown in the last 10% of the game Aye I know but I expected it to be a lot tastier than this.
-
Getting worried now.

Don't forget it's live on SkySports1 free for everyone.

Same fixture last year saw only one Wolves player booked mind. They seem a LOT dirtier this time round though (not that I watched much Premier League last year like).

Useless Madrid cunts.
