  1. wilkinson recommended it be closed because the academies made it obsolete. would've perhaps been better to create a few lilleshall's round the country so that the best kids from the academies could go there for specialised training, rather than just getting training at their clubs. didn't someone on here say that NUFC were only looking for 6 footers at our academy? I think that's the case at most academies. I get the impression that the teams all the way up are ran like the teams at the top - on results - so they want big quick lads who can take advantage of smaller kids. Trouble is once the smaller kids fill out and catch up, the bigger/quicker lads are shown up for their lack of ability. Who gives a fuck about the U17s results? It should be about how many come through into the first team - our record at NUFC is shameful. We've not produced a midfielder capable of playing in the Premiership since Lee fucking Clark. Never mind Steven Gerrard, we've not even managed a Danny Guthrie in 20 years.
  2. Turning up in the German penalty area at 3-1 to receive a throw in. Cunt.
  3. Ouch. Nearly included them to win but with a few of their players (well I know of one, that was enough ) at the World Cup, I decided against it. Obviously they did but it would have shredded my nerves.
  4. You are the closest thing to a crack addict with comments like that.
  5. I don't think there's anything wrong with academies as such, I just think ours are badly run and aimed towards the wrong things. The Dutch team has been built for years on the Ajax academy.

    Luis Suárez

Yep. dont slag off the likes of solskjear (can't be arsed to check the proper spelling) then when they do cuntish things for their teams. doesn't seem like 2 mins ago terry henry was getting slagged off. Re: what chicago just said, the Solskjaer thing rankles because, being outside the box, the punishment didn't fit the crime. This time I think it did.
  7. They took on a lot of Howard Wilkinson's ideas that he'd presented our FA with, which they subsequently ignored.
  8. Aye my Everton mate is not much of a fan either.

    Luis Suárez

Shola? A bit like that, but deliberately, not just cos he's thick as mince. That goal against Everton where he collected it about 5 yards off, looked at the linesman, shrugged his shoulders and buried it.

    Luis Suárez

What about a player who constantly hangs half a yard offside in the hope that the linesman will miss just one of them and send him clean through?
  11. Great call by the linesman.
  12. I am with you on anyone who jumps ship because of residency such as Cacau & I think Miroslav Klose is the same. But people born in a country who have parents from two countries haway man. DO NOT WATCH ENGLAND CRICKET TEAM YOU COULD IMPLODE!! I didn't say anything about people who are born in a country with parents from a different country. Er... yes you did. Who's the Turk then? I thought he was born in Turkey, TheSpence told me he was born in Germany and I said he should play for Germany then, you quoted that post, take some notice. Get your facts right before you peddle nonsense then. Who's your issue with? Cacau? Aye he's been instrumental. My issue (if that's what you want to call a few cracks at Germany's expense) is having 5 players in the Germany squad that weren't born in Germany. Do I actually care?, no, I've already explained what I think about it and the only real issue here is how overblown and silly this has gotten I think it would be ludicrous to force a player to play for a country that he has no memory of and no real affiliation with having not been brought up there.

  15. Wonderful for the continent of Europe. THE WHOLE OF EUROPE WILL BE CELEBRATING TONIGHT!!!!!!!
  16. Hard to see anyone stopping them. Unfortunately.
  17. Eh? They were all born in this country Germany. Did I say they shouldn't be allowed like? Do quote me saying that.. I just think its crazy to see Germany with so many players who either have one parent from Germany or who moved to Germany, its the kind of thing we used to see from the small countries, I might have quessed the PC police would rear their ugly heads Jermaine Defoe, Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Aaron Lennon, Emile Heskey, Shaun Wright Phillips, David James, Glen Johnson all have at least one parent who is not English. Force out the darkies!
  18. Maradona's really blown it abandoning his Jonas-love imo.
  19. I reckon Spain will do exactly the same as Argentina. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, lose the ball, Germans score.
  20. A Germany - Holland final very much on the cards. Ouch. Bicycles and phlegm everywhere.
  21. If England had had their German/Canadian defensive midfielder match fit, we might have still been in the tournament. Massive difference to some of the players playing for Germany & Owen. Owen could not play for Germany as he does not own German passport. He could play for 3 teams though: Canada (place of birth due to his dad playing football there), Enlgand (dad) & Wales (mother). He did play for the Welsh youth but never played for Team Canada. Fellas like Podolski have German blood in them so I don't see what the beef is about that. But the likes Cacau just f*** off man. Teasy wants to get rid of anyone with a Polish sounding name though. Don't forget horrible stinking Turks like Ozil, infesting Germany ever since he emigrated there from Gelsenkirchen. I don't want to get rid of anyone, just think its pretty silly when half their team are either half polish, half turkish or fully Brazilian. In fact I'd rather get rid of the remaining Germans. Why? Presumably you'd get rid of Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Jermaine Defoe et al from the England squad?

Cacau is the only one the accusation can be pointed at. What is the deal with Miroslav Klose? As looking on Wiki both his rents played Polish national teams & he was born there. Ethnic German though and therefore given right of return after the war. Has lived in Germany since he was a nipper.
