  1. Alan Smith once said he'd never play for Manchester United. and look how hated he is at leeds. fans dont forget this shit. Exactly the same like, our rivalry with Everton is ferocious.
  2. if the rats want off then fuck them. we'll just go down with the ship alone. also, if he leaves after saying this then he'll deserve the abuse he'll get.... "I keep hearing about players leaving St James' Park should we go down and my name has been bandied about, but I am going nowhere. I am a Geordie and Newcastle United is my team and I am staying put whatever happens." Have you ever said a bad word about Mike? Always someone else's fault isn't it? as ever, classic logic. have you ever made a post that isnt deeply depressing and filled with rage? grrrr innit. the main gripe i have IN THIS THREAD ON THIS SPECIFIC SUBJECT is this... "im not leaving ever! *beats chest*" "taylor in talks with everton" What do you think of Mike Ashley and the job he's done at NUFC? "As ever, classic logic" - aye I wish I was smart like you, licking Ashley's hoop all season while he took us down.

  4. f***'s sake man. Aye he's much better off hoying his career down the toilet at a football club in its death throes. I'm disgusted Messi's not still playing for his village team in Argentina, the f***ing c***. He's hardley throwing his career down the toilet at all. He wasnt fantastic last season, infact he was far from it. He is nowhere near the level of the england squad at the minute. One season in the championship isnt going to f*** his career is it ffs. He's already been called into the England squad before man. He'll be a lot closer to it at Everton than he will at NUFC. What Premiership club of Everton's calibre is going to come in for him after a season in the Championship with a club who will finish nowhere? This is his big chance. How do you know we'll finish nowhere If we do finish nowhere and he's facing yet another year in the championship then yeah fair enough leave but I cant see why he cant stay one season. He's not good enough for the England squad as it is, He was last called up in 2007 after he had a good season. Last season he was nowhere near good enough nor will he be this season. So one more season at us will not harm his prospects, especially considering we could be back in the prem next season. It's your opinion that he's not good enough for the England squad. It's David Moyes' opinion that he's suitable for the fifth best team in this country - I disagree with him but that is neither here nor there. He has confidence in his ability and he has more chance of getting into the England squad with Everton in the Premier League than with NUFC in the Championship. If we finish mid-table in the CCC, there will be no club as big as Everton coming in for him - you'd have to be looney tunes to think otherwise. How do I know we'll finish nowhere? Have you seen the state of our fucking squad?

  7. The way things stand, even if we were to get promotion (and I doubt it), the investment that would now be required to even manage beating Derby's record is far too much for either the fat leech or any potential owner. The phrase "it's set us back x years" is overused in football but Ashley really has destroyed any chance of the club even managing to compete in the top half of the Premiership for at least five or ten years.

    RIP sale thread.

Put your handbag down, dear. I was merely following cubaricho's line of being Devil's Advocate in this instance. I blame the boredom of not knowing where the fuck we are with this whole sorry saga. Fair enough, I blame the anger of wanting to stove Mike Ashley's head in with a rusty claw hammer.

    Players in public

Ha, just came to post in here, I saw him in Fenwicks about 3 o'clock.
  10. Better hope Shola hits a dry spell between now and the end of August because if he carries on like this for the next three games, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see a Hull, Wolves or Birmingham take the gamble, safe in the knowledge Ashley will take whatever's offered to him. Never thought I'd see the day I was hoping we wouldn't sell Shola Ameobi, Jesus fucking Christ man.
  11. Aye, no doubt he'll be a cunt if he leaves because he doesn't want to waste his career at a dying football club, like Bassong, Beye, N'Zogbia and Given. Thank God we've got good lads like Alan Smith and Kevin Nolan who want to be here (and are incidentally being paid vastly more than their worth but I'm sure that's got nothing to do with it). Zog was a cunt give yourself a shake man. I couldn't give a flying fuck if he was the devil incarnate, he's a cracking footballer. He rarely showed that for us though. Not going to bite.

    RIP sale thread.

You don't seriously expect folks on here to say anything bad about Wor Al, do you? Or more to the point, for anyone (other than indi, perhaps) to be bold enough to suggest that maybe Ashley could see Shearer was clueless how to sort things out? Pity your argument falls down over the fact that what Mike Ashley knows about football wouldn't cover a postage stamp. "Ashley could see he was clueless" ffs. Have a word.

  15. Let's hope Spurs don't steal in and offer us 30p, Yid Ashley will rip their hand off.
  16. Of course he is a proper geordie he was born in London to geordie parents who then moved back to Newcastle where he was brought up a geordie. Its like saying you are spanish if you are born in spain when your mum was on holiday. At best he has "dual nationality" so could qualify for cockney passport but his nationality is first and foremost Geordie Funny how nobody ever says Shola's not a Geordie.
  17. The same way he justifies everything else he's done since he arrived. He's a total cunt.
  18. Good old Mike. He's a hell of a guy.
  19. Alan Smith in the Championship = Roy Keane in the Premiership. Both top quality players at that level. To say Smith is a liability because he may get sent off is absurd. Its his drive and passion that makes the odd red card possible.
  20. Jesus wept. How old is this now, how is there any football fan on the internet who hasn't seen it?

  22. We're only three games in ffs. He'll get better - he's not doing too much wrong for my money, considering the way we're playing.
  23. Aye if Harper hadn't pulled off a good save, I think the brain-dead fuck would actually have caused my blood to boil over (especially once I'd heard it was SMB who would have scored). What sort of captain is he when he's constantly toeing the line of a red card and giving away set pieces in dangerous areas? I swear to God, when he gave away that free kick at Wigan two seasons ago after Ryan Taylor had already warmed up his anti-Geordie right foot, I don't know how I resisted the temptation to run on the pitch and strangle the stupid prick.
  24. Aye mine's like that too.
  25. He's got a hell of a shot on him, just needs the confidence to use it.
