Not sure I like this 4-3-3 - too narrow. With Viduka on we should have Zog on left and Milner on the right. -

Agreed, however some on here and at the game think we should have won the league after two games!!! Things are definately moving the right direction -
Offense? I think it's safe to say that anything involving Emre will be s*** though. bollocks tbh Ok, you've convinced me. that was easy I had no comeback tbh. I could of course turn it into a debate which will end up with someone saying "Parker was to blame for Emre being completely ineffectual in all but 4 of his games for us" but I'll leave it for another day. Anyone got a theory of why we can't actually score at home? Shit atmosphere and the fans getting on the case of the players far too easily. Too much negative pressure.

Carling Cup 2nd Round - Newcastle vs Barnsley (29/08/07)

Not the most inspiring round is it or draw. -
We love it, great player on his day and he is willing to play anywhere for us Quote: "I think the gaffer sees me as quite a versatile player who can play through the centre whether that be off the strikers or as a central-midfielder that is obviously up to him but if I am required to step in to cover for any of the wide players that would be okay because I am comfortable on the left or the right and I happy at full-back as well." He is bound to say that ffs!! Just give Bobby a call and he might say otherwise. A childish dig at us, nothing more.

I wouldn't say Dyer and Bellamy did nothing for Newcastle, they were key to us getting among the Champions League places and going on a pretty decent Champions League run. West Ham will be trying to get the best out of them obviously, and in Dyer's case keep him fit. It's a big ask but clubs like West Ham need to take some risks if they want to move up the table quickly. They should be looking at their defence as well mind, it still looks shocking. Ok, put another way. The negatives fair outweighed the positives. Having one prick in your team is bearable, three is asking for trouble.

On occassions he was class. On Many occassions he was injured. On all occasions he was a tosser. On this occassion, he is someone elses problem - thank funk. Onwards and upwards. (P.S did WHU not once stop and think (about the players they have signed from us) - they did fuck all for NUFC).... No - they thought, lets pay more for the players (than they paid) that will run all day but not much more. I so hope there season finishes like its started.
