  1. Just listening to his interview - he sounds a broken man, to be honest.
  2. Charnley will be safe, man. Once Benitez goes, the club will do 'dark' for a few months, hoping that the anger dies down and that people get the football bug back, come August. It's what they did back in 2009.
  3. Was too cautious from the off today, but once again - his bigger name players let him down. I'd love him to stay, to take us back up - but it's not going to happen. Ashley won't pay the wages, or give Benitez the control he would want. Thanks for giving it a go, Rafa. You've done your best, but been let down.
  4. Remember what he said before the West Ham game, last season? "The buck stops with me" Too fucking right it does, you fat, odious cunt.
  5. Another poor show. He should be moved on in the summer, but he will more than likely be given the club captaincy.
  6. Another one with a heart the size of a pea. His away form has been disgusting this season - no excuses.
  7. Only Townsend, Lascelles, and Anita looked bothered today. Colback, Wijunaldum and Sissoko - not bothered at all. When relegation comes, it will be fully deserved.
  8. Yup - a bit too cautious today from us so far - trying to draw Villa onto us and then hit them on the counter. We need to be more positive 2nd half. Once again, Wijunaldum has offered fuck all.
  9. Between the football clubs, there has always been bother (the riot of 1906) Agreed that the nastiness is only a recent thing. When my old man was a kid, he would go to watch Newcastle one week and Sunderland the next (even though he's a black and white) It was the done thing back then in the late 50's/early 60's.
  10. Us and the mackems rivalry apparently goes all the way back to the time of the English Civil war and it also had a lot to do with the awarding of rights, to transport coal to London (Newcastle won them, Sunderland didn't) This rivalry goes back at least 300 years.
  11. Only Dembele charged?! Spurs must have a lot of friends at the FA!
  12. Well played to Leicester - fully deserved and worth champions. Spurs played some great stuff, first half last night - but their capitulation at the end was disgraceful. Could and should have finished with at least 4 players sent off. How Dier was not sent off, is beyond me!
  13. Whinging Arsenal supporter on 606. Incredible.
  14. Turned out to be a cracking signing - without a doubt.
  15. He's done really well. His attitude and commitment puts Colo and Steven Taylor to shame. Those two should never play for the club again (and hopefully won't!)
