Forest's crackerjack of an owner has undone all of the good work that was done by Nuno, last season. He's only got himself to blame.

Taxi for Ange.

Supposedly, Spartan's budget should have them around mid-table in the league they are in, so clearly - something isn't working. Apparently the new owners are intent on building a community club, which is good - but as we see, it will sharp fail if results on the field don't back it up. Crowds will dwinde which means less money, etc. I suspect they are still paying off debt accrued from the previous owner, who turned out to be a con man and probably leveraged it with as much debt as he could, which he then asset stripped. 'Transparency' was supposed to be a key word from the new owners (who include Kevin Miles), but there doesn't seem to be much of that going on in recent weeks. Colin Myers is surely on borrowed time.

Bishop Auckland winning too, I think.

My bad. Town are at home to Consett.

Spartans 2-0 down at Dunston. Heading down to the NL, with barely a whimper.

Not a good advert for NE football at that level - a lack of quality available players, or too many teams in the same league?
-
Spartans lost 2-1 at Pontefract, after being in front. Lots of supporters online now calling for the head of Colin Myers (manager) Club is in free-fall- heading back to the Northern League. Desperate times.

Rangers has been turned into a total basket-case of a club, over the last year or two. What the hell are the owners doing?
-
I'm sure that Tony Cunningham was referred to as 'Blackie Milburn', during the mid 80's, too.

Blyth Spartans getting cuffed 3-0 at home of Heaton Stannington - it's not even half time yet. Desperate stuff.

Not surprised Martin has gone. He can get back to pumping Lucy Pinder at least.

Another good performance from Big Nick. Surprised me in that he's settled in really, really quick and seems like a very decent lad too. If he keeps progressing - it's gonna be a case of Iask, who?

I remember a time (early 2000'a) when Bruce was highly-rated as a coach. Lets hope his managerial days are over. May he now wallow in a cup of cold sick.

Colin Suggett?

Club legend, was Willie. RIP.

Enjoyed that game, and was good to see Liverpool getting a taste of their own medicine at the end - even if it was Chelsea.
