Arsenal getting bummed.
-
5Live are saying it's a bit dodgy.
-
Game was there to be won today, but he bottled it - set us up for the point. I'm disturbed as to how lacking in ideas and attacking play we are, as well as the lack of incoming transfers. Nevermind fannying about saying we are in for '3 or 4' - get them feckin signed! In saying that, we all know what will happen. We will get to deadline day - a couple of loan deals and a cheap signing or two. The talk of Remy, etc is nothing more than BS to pacify the fans. Won't wash with me anymore. Pardew is a coward and he has the look and sound of a man who knows he is running out of time. Ashley would sooner jettison him than us lot turn on the owner again. Umpteenth time in saying this - but this is what happens when you have non-football men running the club.

Norwich City vs Newcastle United - 12/01/13 @ 3pm (not on TV)

Bloody hell - Barton's gone grey! -
And if he does, the fans will turn on him like wildfire. It would probably be the end of his time here certainly. Could burn too many bridges. As it stands, there is still a tiny glimmer that this is all bollocks, or that he could be persuaded to change his mind. Fucking dilemma. It's an awful situation. Still doesn't change the fact that we are gonna have to move very quickly to get other bodies in. Instead of one centre back, we'll need two if Colo buggers off.
-
I'm not sure picking him is a good idea, even if we are that badly off at the moment. He could have a feckin mare tomorrow.
-
I'd imagine the lack of a formal transfer request means that he will want some kind of 'loyalty' pay off, should be leave?
-
Sky's silence, so far, has been something I've used as reassurance of it all being bollocks. I know they're not the bastion of news corps...but it seemed they were doing some digging before going with the Indi (unlike the Ronny Gill). Still nothing on the NUFC page: http://www1.skysports.com/football/teams/newcastleunited Trying to stay optimistic. Well, we know David Craig is well in with Ashley and Llambias. I'm not close to a TV, so can't confirm either way.
-
Sky are apparently reporting that Colo has not handed in a transfer request......
-
Aye - too big a story for NUFC to ignore. But then again, this is Ashley and Llambias that we are talking about.
-
Worrying times. Something not right going on at the club, IMO. Free-fall is in danger of turning into the club imploding again. Just what the feck is going on?
-
Well, if Barton is right I hope we have moved on to other targets, rather than fannying around chasing a player who doesn't seem to want to come here.
-
Well played Swansea. Terrific team and club.
-
Absolutely no fucking need man. Utter utter bollocks coming up with shit like this. IMO Just my opinion. He's been dogshit when we bought him and wasn't even a Championship player then. Three years later and we still haven't replaced him. Massively weak link in everything we do. Apologies if I caused offence by comparing him to a deadly disease, but in terms of football and problems in our side, he is a deadly disease. It's shite patter and absolutely no call for it.

There's gonna be some big clubs knocking on Swansea's door this summer (for Michu) Been an absolute steal for them.

Michu

He can talk a glass eye to sleep, IMO. The perfect cure for insomnia.

'More than two players' sounds like Llambias' words. Remember the 'more than two bids' when the club was up for sale?

Yup - I'm gonna write this one off. Norwich win (and it saddens me to say that) -
It's little short of a disgrace that no-one has been lined up to replace Ba, who the club must have known was going for some time. It's gonna be another case of smoke and mirrors until the end of the window, which will ultimately end in disappointment with the club saying 'we tried, but couldn't get anyone over the line'. Same old rubbish from Ashley and Pardew.
