Graeme Roberts sounds like an attention seeking prick. And is David Speedie involved too? Christ - we had Wise and now bloody Speedie. Whoever next?
-
We do. The cash for Nolan and Ryan Taylor was paid in full and up front.
-
I'd like to know where the money from the player sales has gone, if not to reduce the overdraft? And if the cash is yet due in, then why sell them on the bloody never-never?
-
I'm no fan of Warnock, but he's bang on with this one. Disgusting from the officials.

Would happily take Campbell to partner Taylor and let Coloccini leave the club.

Newcastle v Sheff Wed - 19:45 KO 19/08/09 Pre-Match Thread

Will be going along to this. Taking one of the lads that I care for, so doing it as a shift. We'll probs sort some tickets on Weds am. Here's hoping they have some concessions left for disabled supporters, otherwise - Leazes Level 7 it'll have to be. -
Can't be faulted at all today. Well done the big man. Wish he could do it consistently though - that's always been his biggest problem.

Northumberland lass, IIRC.

Good win and performance I thought. Could see the confidence boost that the first goal gave the side - could have very easily been 4 or 5. Had almost forgotten what a win feels like to be honest, so it's given the rest of the weekend a good feel. One swallow doesn't make a summer though and whilst it's provided a bit of a platform, things are still very uncertain. Need to get that fat southern **** out of the club and then we can move forwards again. -

'Stand up if you hate Ashley' being sang, I think. -

Suggests that he's coming back to stay. Expect the club to be taken off the market early next week and Kinnear back in charge. -

Again - a serious lack of pace. Curtails our options severely. -
Been away for a few days and I see nothing has changed really. Longer this goes on, the more likely he'll take us off the market. And so will begin the final journey for this club on it's way to hell. If Kinnear returns, it's yet another kick in the knackers for the very fans that he had a go at some months ago. Once again, backs up the feeling that Ashley holds nothing but contempt for the fans. But we knew that already.

Just read the times piece on .com. Is Ashley playing a bit of hardball here? Surely if Moat and his group are legit then they would have fallen by the wayside by now, as did the Profitable Group? Reading between the lines re Shearer - kind of backs up that Ashley didn't like what he was told by Shearer and that if DoL comes in, then everything will be done on the cheap. But what's new there since this fat oaf took over our club? Howay Barry - get it sorted!

Load of bollocks. Is that tosh or has it been confirmed?

SSN: David O'Leary 'no longer in contention' for NUFC job
Big Geordie replied to Dave's topic in Football
This. I'm gutted, not because of DoL, but the fact that Ashley's greed may have once again scuppered any chances of this club moving forwards. DoL is better than what we have at the moment. Should be Shearer, but I'm of the camp that Ashley didn't like what Shearer told him back in May, so the only way Alan will get the job is if Moat's takeover goes through. -
Oliver has no more insight on this than anyone else.
-
Get rid. He's an arsehole who has had too many chances at this football club.

Smith my MoM today - had a good game in the middle. We may have found a role for him, as long as he is consistent, keeps it simple and keeps up the work ethic. Carroll did really well up front and should start ahead of Ameobi, who offered very little today. Someone elsewhere said he's regressed as a footballer, and I have to agree with them on that. Coloccini is a liability - amazing to think he's been capped nearly 30 times by Argentina. And Jonas - can beat players for fun, but can't cross a ball for toffee. I wouldn't be sad to see him and his compatriot leave the club. Special word for Tim Krul who pulled off some wonderful saves when he had to come on.

I'm amazed the lad is 'only' 30. I can run faster than he can, and that's saying something. Unfortunately no other club will take him off our hands - he's here to stay for this season.
