  1. You need a new hobby, mate. Is it not close? You're a fucking joke. Disappear from January 2009 to February 2011, and only reappeared recently after bailing yet again after that failure of another transfer window in August this year. You expect people think you are anything but a two bit WUM? Pretty sure I've been on here plenty for the past couple of seasons. are you baggio? Rumbled!

It's an exclusive innit. For what it's worth, there isn't much he's said that strikes me as likely far from the mark and gives a pretty interesting insight (if true). Obviously not the best policy to get a bit bladdered and give it the billy big bollocks in earshot of some sad sacks tape player mind. As long as he never said nowt bad about Wor Demba who cares ? What Llambias has said doesn't affect me or anyone at the club (not that Shepherds digs against Shearer or Owen or even Bellamy I suspect really had much of an effect despite them still being in his employ), just harms him personally with those he's taken pissed pot shots at, while giving the rest of us an unexpected window on why they've taken some of the decisions they have. The guy, while doing a decent job, does come across as a massive dick more often than not, but this supposed overheard pub conversation doesn't really bother me at all in all honesty. I agree with most of that and what I find more revealing out of this whole episode is that it appears to highlight just how much Thomson House are cosy with the club. No mention of this at all in any of their titles and the fact that it was a mirror exclusive doesnt stop other papers reporting the "mirror exclusive". Bodes poorly for any balance going forward. (if ever it was there). Unless the Mirror are more open about the source of the quotes, I'm not sure Thompson House should touch it to be fair.

  7. You can now view highlights of any game from the last three seasons via the fixture page. Canny. http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Match/FixturesAndResults/0,,10278~2011,00.html Via: http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111109/relive-any-game-from-last-three-seasons_2281670_2510977
  8. 7.5 very generous for Ben Arfa, he showed a few nice touches but did nothing out of the ordinary, 6.5 max imo No. Carried the ball, won a few free kicks, looked nifty. Did ok, but better than Guthrie? Like fuck.
  9. Canny. The hell's wrong with this kid, there are loads of decent places to play. Try the Northumberland club for starters.
  10. Happy for Hughton of course, but have no interest in seeing Birmingham anywhere near the premiership if at all possible.
  11. Tic Tacs. http://theexecutionersbong.wordpress.com/2011/11/03/newcastle-v-everton-tactical-preview/? http://www.leazesterrace.com/newcastle-vs-everton-tactical-preview-05-11-11/? Both worth a neb.
  12. Probably when the lads are booed off on Saturday Worryingly it doesn't take much imagination to see that actually happening.
  13. A decent centre half and a tricky striker would be a fantastic boost if possible. Other than that, I'm happy as a sand boy; there are enough good players trying to break into the team as it is.
  14. I swear down, the way you keep banging on, if Marveaux and Santon ever get a proper game, they better be 'A' grade s*** off a stick awesomeness or I will be mightily peeved. I'm just slightly annoyed that we don't play our strongest XI when available. Obviously we're unbeaten, but still, they're not exactly bench material. Probably not, but I'm loathed to complain about having their kind of caliber filling our bench for once. No, seriously, I understand, they're top players that we'd all like to see on the pitch. But Pardew bought all three of them (HBA, Marv, Santon), presumably because he wanted them to get them out there playing. For just that reason alone I'd have no doubt that when they are ready, they'll get their chance.

  16. The fact remains that the only teams we have managed to beat have been poor and you could argue actually significantly poorer than last season. Our defensive record is only the best because the top teams have handed out absolute pummelings (occasionally, to each other) and we have yet to even meet the likes of Man City/United, Chelsea or Liverpool. /Devils advocate

    Season Tickets

Quick heads up for any Services bods. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111102/poppies-on-display-against-everton_2281670_2503243? In an additional show of support for the armed forces, the Club has donated 400 tickets to the Tickets for Troops appeal for the games against Everton (5th November), West Brom (21st December), Queens Park Rangers (15th January) and Aston Villa (4th February). These are allocated to servicemen and women via a ballot process online at www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk. Further details for armed forces personnel can be obtained from their base. The Club are also offering a significant number of discounted tickets to members of the armed forces and their families for the same four fixtures. Tickets will be available for just £5 for over 11s and free for under 11s.
  18. £20m should do it. £30m for Tiote if you'd like him too.

    Alan Pardew

How do you know he was the only candidate? I wasn't referring to their shortlist before/when Hughton got sacked, i just mean that he's turned out to be perfect for the job (and thus, the 'only' candidate). That said, it wouldn't surprise me if he was the only name they discussed. There's clearly a relationship there from pre-Newcastle. That's not what Pards claims Aye... i don't believe him. Did you also believe Hughton was a puppet when appointed? Give this article a go - http://www.cracked.com/article_19468_5-logical-fallacies-that-make-you-wrong-more-than-you-think.html

Yes, yes you do. It would be absolutely staggering considering the bore hole has sod all to do with the club, it was a university project nowhere near any training ground. As for being lucky with injuries? As has been said Ben Arfa, and off the top of my head, Taylor, Santon, Guthrie, Williamson, Furguson, Gosling, Vuckic and Tiote have all been missing games this season because of injury and Shola will be out for a good deal longer. Not massively lucky if you ask me.

Mother of Fuck. What the hell is a matter with you?

    Season Tickets

Hopefully not, but I worry slightly that the price of the new tickets means a greater chance of an empty seat that can't be sold on if the holder can't make it (especially when you hear that a number of tickets have been sold to some who have no plans to actually make it over for half the games etc).
  23. Gave up on the big-spending idea a long time ago, quite pleased with the prospect of us being an 'anti-Citeh' I don't think he ever had a big-spending idea, at any point. He said himself that he couldn't compete on spending on his own, hence his call for local investment and a wealthy partner within a year. What he did stop after the protests was the £20m he was willing to put into the club every year (something that barely covered the loses at the time).
