Judging by his unfortunate stance, I reckon the guy in the middle is the coach driver.

What the fuck is that? It should be Northern Rock ffs. Agree - wonder if NR as supposed 'official club sponsor' will be happy about that, especially with only being into the 2nd year of a 4 year deal? Check out co.uk width=640 height=360http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/15/84/0,,10278~9995285,00.jpg[/img] On twitter, the Official club account is sending this one out... http://lockerz.com/s/138879301 ...with SD.com sign??!! Judging by the reactions of Krul and a few more, someone has just dropped one in that lockerz shot.

The SD sign is just one of any number of signs they stick in front, but the Northern Rock one is the one we'll see in the papers etc.

Arghhhhh, no! The club (NUFC) do not get paid anything directly relating to the advertisements, they have cos around 42k to put in place. NUFC covered this cost £42k was paid in 2008 and 2009. Are you sure these are signage costs? The same figure, two years running... Not that it matters much, but I thought someone said that the £42K was just an actual cost in the 2008 accounts, and the 2009 accounts just referred back to it? That's correct. Huzzah!

Cant be legal to do something like that or ? Since Ashley owns both, he could use club money to write 'f*** you Geordies, Cockney Rule OK' on the roof if he wanted to Wasn't thinking about the sign itself, thinking about having Newcastle to pay for it. Must be some legal part that is not allowed paying advertisement for another company. I feel like Ashley is being like a little kid on this one. It is like the more the fans sing shite towards him the more he tries to destroy our club. Cant see Ashley selling our club or walk away from it in the near future unless a crazy bid from some multi billionaire, so maybe it is time to make peace with Ashley? - Llambias and Pardew has told the press that its not easy to get Ashley to spend cash on Newcastle United as long as we keep being hostile against him and his people, is it really possible to make peace with him? No need to make peace with him (he's not exactly proved anything very positive yet). I'm not going to shout dogs abuse at him though which was all Llambias was whining about.

Extended highlights of the Norwich game now up on .cock. Not a lot of Santon, but loved his first driving run into the box.

Ha, good lad. Beats taking money directly out of the club by boycotting pies, pints and games at least, and tbh might make a bigger point as SD seems to be the one thing Ashley really cares about.

Don't know whether this should go here as I'm not sure whether it's a lecture that will incorporate anything about coaching or not, but could be of interest to some. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20110915/coachs-philosophy-talk_2281670_2451667? Development Coach Willie Donachie will introduce a lecture on philosophy at St. James' Park next week. The former Scotland international will introduce the talk by Donald Lambie, head tutor of the School of Economic Science in London. Taking place at Club 206 at United's stadium, the talk is entitled 'Introduction To Practical Philosophy' and will be held on Wednesday, September 21 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Admission is free.

Half of me is, massively. The other half just knows I'll be bricking it every time he's on the pitch and a tackle comes flying in; Not sure I'm looking forward to that very much.

It is taking the proverbial now. It's like everytime he sees any photo with the team in it, he cocks his leg and sprays SD all ower them (it's the only reason for the blasted training ground signs). Apropos of nowt. http://files.sharenator.com/condescending_I_have_found_a_new_way_to_be_condescending-s720x254-37397-580.png

Good to see this finally getting a bit of coverage in the press, though not sure "South Tyneside superfan Keith ‘Beefy’ Roberts" is the best of spokespeople.
-
Ah jeez. I'll go to your crappy store only when I'm good and ready, Ashley, when I'm good and fucking ready.

Must say Im a bit surprised Deano. Had you signed up here under your usual sig explained the above (knowing quite a few post on both forums) and possibly linked to a £5 donation as the start of you paying up it would have looked better. This looks a bit like an attempt to start again and dodge a bet to a very worthy cause. I feel a little as though your "unmasking" has brought this about. I hope Im wrong as a few of us did try to give you the benefit of the doubt over there. Anyway thats my bit said and I'll leave it as that. Was Monday really the first time you had been on this forum or have you been here under another guise before? Dont read TT so can only assume you are 'Christmas Tree' on there too, personally think a bets a bet and should be honoured(Pissi) but dont see why that affects what he does on this forum or what he has as a username. Or why TT shite is in this thread. Probs best to keep it to PMs.

Don't worry, that'll soon be nipped in the bud after we've played another shite half a dozen games with him in the team.

This stuff about costing us money is going a bit far, there was nothing like that in the last accounts. Yes there was. Edit: looks like I was thinking of the ones before that. Of course it's costing us money! Company's aren't putting the signs up and doing up the dugouts with Sports Direct seats and such, free of charge are they It's costing someone money certainly. There was nowt about it in the latest accounts though, and you'd hope there'd be some wedge from SD to us in the next lot. I'd be pretty amazed if things that have been done in the last month appeared in last year's accounts like Alright, the lot after then. Jeeez. Mabe there will be something in the next lot though fingers crossed. The ramping up of shit plastered around the place hasn't just been in the last month. Yeah, we didn't get a penny from Sports Direct in the first 3 years when we were making a loss, but I'm sure he had a change of heart last year when we made tens of millions of pounds profit. Probably what gave us a million or so to spend on transfers in the Summer. He only treats us badly because we don't love him enough, give him another chance. Just wait until the next set of accounts/transfer window, you'll see... I don't think there has been an significant upping of loving towards him recently so I'm pretty sure we won't. I agree that 'there has been nothing coming in from SD in the accounts, so why would there be now', and I still can't get my head around whether he thinks it actually makes any difference seeing as they're both his companies. But you just kind of hope that now the tacky signs are all over the shop, he'll at least get them to cough up some money ffs.

Im just slightly stunned by Roeder in these stats. As soon as he was appointed it was painful as hell seeing him as our manager, but fair play to him for getting the points in I guess.

Thanks to HTT we're bringing back some lovely memories here. Can't wait for Saturday now, just to see whether he takes it on the chin and makes some changes, or somehow proves QPR was just an off day. Really don't want to see us getting our first hiding of the season against Villa.

Fair enough. Not sure why this is being discussed in an Alan Pardew thread though.
