Not at all. He was free to leave. We chose to give him an extension....twice!
-
No. We need longstaff as he's of age and can actually play a part. You don't HAVE to have club grown players, you just get less places. Dummett takes a space that doesn't exist as he'll never play in the CL. Might as well save the money.

Never heard of Burstow, any good? Had heard of Diallo, was little surprise he ended up being good at that level. End of the day it's a good model babysitting big clubs kids. More will want to come for game time and those who aren't going to make it for their parent club may even stay. Could be their career stalls and in a couple of years join due to relations. Theyve got to use any means necessary to move forward without any major outlay, and although they may kick up a fuss selling a few players and only bringing in loans, but eventually it will grt them cash in the bank to make offers for players who they can sell on for bigger profits. It's certainly a business for the owner. It's a club built now as a shop window for clubs around them and a creche for those above.

What job though? Dummett was never great, but injuries and lack of playing time means he'd be a risk even for a Championship team, and Ritchie's legs went years ago. He's a sub appearance at best. Might as well give that time to a youngster and move them on. Both are a waste of any place for squad registration, and if we're so hamstrung by FFP, then their wages off the books would help more than any contribution they'll give us on the pitch. 100% behind them being around the club training, going into coaching, but their playing days here are over, and that should reflect with lack of a playing contract.
-
You going to play him in the CL? If not, then it's just a waste of a registration.
-
I still don't know why were using squad positions for Dummett & Ritchie. Both were finished before Howe came in. Expensive cheerleaders.

If we don't sign a CB 100% botman is out for longer than expected and schar is sent off against Brighton.

Wonder if salah hoys in a transfer request

50% tactics, 50% genuine, 100% nerves every time.

For right now it's a 7. We only recruited one starter in Tonali. I think we needed one more to make a difference. Tino & Hall are exciting for the future...and I'm still not sold selling ASM and paying more for Barnes was the correct decision.

Glad we're done. Can pass me by and not worry about our jewels being pocketed.
-
I can see it, with the ties you have in France. Also, he's a character. Means he'll join a team you'd think was out of reach of him, but on the flipside he'll get upset at anything and move on. He's a good flip like. Get him advertised and sell on.

Adil is very good. Prem quality Imo.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Fucking square pitch cunts. -
Thing is, selling Clarke, Stewart and Roberts for £25m is more than he's paid for the club. Probably get another £20m for Cirkin, Ballard & Patterson over the next year as well. It's Mike Ashley-lite.
-
Sounds like a dodgy discount butchers you'd find on a run down Sunderland high street. Certainly a good fit.
-
To think Dan Burn, the player they ripped the piss out of us for signing, will most likely have played more European games in the CL for us than them as well.
-
Think Clarke is the one they'll regret selling, if it happens. Stewart was never fit, both in their final year. They've done well to get that kind of money for them. Now the hard part, replacing them and still missing their best player from last year, Diallo.

If you didn't want a draw like that, then CL isn't for you. Best support Sunderland and draw Crewe in the 1st round of the League Cup. -
