  1. I do wonder about the Terry thing. You just know that Terry is the kind of tit that would take umbrage to losing the captaincy and would hold it against Capello, even though it was his own fucking fault. Part of the reason Bridge pulled out of contention for a place in the squad was because Terry was such a big figure in the dressing room, I honestly wouldn't be at all shocked if Terry is a real problem in that dressing room. Or the players see Terry as the victim, believe he should never have lost the captaincy and Cappello was too weak to tell the press to fuk off. Now with Rio out and gerrard captain, maybe its left half the team thinking again, Terry is our captain, not 3rd choice Gerrard.

No. Though not deserving of the level of shite the commentators have been throwing at him. Actual Argie defenders have put in worse shifts.
  5. Fabio lost the dressing room the day he decided to let the media interfere with his captaincy. It's been a downward spiral ever since.
  6. Connor Wickham is a big prospect but a massive ask for him to develop that quickly, next season he needs to target holding down a first team spot and score consistently and Championship level, that leaves 2 years to get to Premiership level consistency and a year doing it while getting caps for England. 2014 is probably one too soon, but hopefully if the hype comes good then he's ready for euro16. Another possibility is someone like the Spuds or Chelsea buying him for buying sake, to site around in the reserves and not getting proper game time hampering his development. Staying at Ipswich is really what's best for him for at lest the whole of next season, but if Ipswich get a great offer and its a big club he could make the wrong choice and leave. I reckon Ashley Cole would be finished by then, injury, not caring - loosing his pace, while if a thug like Cattermole gets anywhere near the England set up then we don't really deserve to be at a World Cup. Also Green is shite and never will be international class, not even with 4 more years under his belt and by then Joe Hart will be so far ahead of any English GK that it won't matter. So I'd throw in the young lad from Huddersfield, Alex Smithies. Apart from that, canny list i reckon. Also Kyle Naughton, Kyle Walker, James Tomkins, Chris Smalling & Fabien Delph should be knocking around the 30 man squads as well as our own Steven Taylor, with more chance if he leaves and goes to an organised club, there's still hope for him yet after what we've seen with Dawson over the past year.
  7. Ribery. Now he has to be sacked from International football.
  8. Not the first to have a bust up with Domenech, there's one common denominator; they're all French.

  10. So you're not a robot after all.
  11. TBF you as an Englishman would rather support Australia in all their sports. That doesn't just make you less English, it makes you things i'd get banned for saying, one starting with a C and, well, you can guess the rest.
  12. Capello is one of the best managers in the world, the problem lies with the players, they seem to be in some kind of coccon where if they aren't humping the likes of Burnley or Wigan (helped by a team of costly foreign players), they don't really seem to know how to make things happen. He's not one of the best managers in the world if he cannot motivate his players and help them handle the pressure of a big tournament. End of the day he picked the squad, he's picked the two teams and he made the subs, its his fault we are where we are, just as much as the players. He needs to go. There isn't that much to pick from, I say that every world cup. The problem with people living in England is that they watch sky for two weeks swallow all the hype and then start blaming everything but the players. There's enough though, certainly enough to be doing better than this. That last sentence hasn't really got anything to do with anything here tbf, I'll put it down to Parkymongering.
  13. Shooting and passing is down to tactics though, they contained us well and closed down, something needs to be done to break that. He couldn't think of anything, swapping Lennon for SWP isn't going to change things, its more of the same. Face it, the guy isn't getting it right.

  15. It's temping fate, isn't it? Same with the Sun back page, there's only one way it's going to go. Isn't there some kind of curse in American Football where the player picked to feature on the front of the Madden game because they're the rising star of the time always fades into obscurity or suffers a career ending injury? And isn't the Grammy for "Best New Artist" a well known poison chalice that guarantees career atrophy? Well we must see what Cronaldo does in the next game, if he struggles then yeah, none of them have done well, one didn't even get picked, that should have been a warning from the off!
  16. Sicko for manger tbh. Though i'd have took johnson as well, then drop Lampard when he inevitably doesn't do anything for 70mins, put Cole inside and johnson wide left.
  17. Cappello showed last night he's not good enough for the job. He took a questionable team to the world cup to play in one of the easiest groups for a long time and failed miserably, an uninspiring starting XI x2, and couldn't make the right sub if it bit him on the arse. Even if we scrape a win and get through it will be undeserved, and we will more than likely get humped off any half decent team and that will end this miserable world cup. The players will no doubt come out today defending themselves, saying we have a right to moan etc...but we must stick together not the managers fault, usual crap, but truth is none of them fukers on the pitch last night deserve our support again and should tender their resignation from the squad immediately allowing players who actually give a shit a chance . I've never seen such a non-english display of football in my life. Were generally not good technically and lack the spark of the better teams, but we usually play with heart, passion and commitment, and i've not seen any of that so far and in the two games we've played there is less and less of it. If form follows our next game we will be wheeling out coffins with the players in, they lack that much effort and desire. If Cappello plays Heskey in the next game, or pairs Lampard and Gerrard and or doesn't play Joe Cole he should be sacked before kick off and let Stuart Pearce take over, because the old Italian bastard will never learn or understand WTF he's doing. Two year contract extension FFS, that's how stupid our FA is.
  18. I celebrated a bit, even f it was just for mike
  19. Mike is such a great sport, a lesser man would have snapped by now and be sin binned by the admin.
  20. TBF we could have a load more that would qualify after four years in the region. and steven taylor wasn't born up here either. True, London lad and came up when his was 8 weeks old aye?
