Love it how it ends there, no commitment beyond two years. 3rd season,....champions league? 1st, 3rd, 6th 2nd, .....finishes good or bad? How long ago? Footballs changed, its moved on, suggest you do the same. He'd get nowhere near CL football even if he had 5 years at the club and a sensible amount to spend. Thas where Keegan differs from people like you, thats why he achieved so much, he sets his ambitions high and makes the players believe. Yeah I'm not a bottler. God forbid if he sets his sights low if he's achieved so much as a manager. doubt youve ever been european footballer of the year, champion in England, Germany, Fa cup winner, England manager, or managed Newcastle to promotion or second place either. Thought we were talking about his managerial achievements here? He was a terrible England manager and walked away from Newcastle twice, something i'd never do. my point was, you dont achieve those things unless you have ambition. But what's ambition got to do with things? His ambition hasn't stopped him walking out on several jobs, if he was ambitious he'd have stuck through the rough times, like Fergie in the early years at Manu. He either doubts his own ability (fair enough) or isn't ambitious enough to follow through on his goals. Which is it? Neither, .. his ambition was beyond that of the clubs owner, and cronies. Shame his talent and temperament didn't match. talent? you must be one of the sky boys Bahahahaaha!! Pathetic. ill take that as a yes then. And what are you, apart from being a boring repetitive living in the past relic? er, i think you will find it was you who started this little debate. You who dragged it to sewer level.

You realise that his name is only Sirous Mahjoob in the Western alphabet, and if his dealings have only been in Arab nations thus far then there is no reason for him to be on English google? Yes, I'm well aware. Again, what is the likelihood that this 'tycoon', rich enough to buy Newcastle United, has never had anything written about him in the Latin alphabet. I still say it's a wind up until something more credible materialises. There are hundreds of people in the world who can afford the £100m, and you don't have to deal with the west these days to be rich. Someone in the UAE can make stinking loads without the need to be recognised in the West. Clutching at straws. You also don't have to do business with the the west to have something written about you. The original article claims he's mates with the Iranian David Beckham. He's not exactly a low profile bloke by the sounds of it... yet no one in has written anything about him in the latin alphabet? Ever? I'm not saying it's impossible but you have to concede that it's very very unlikely. Could Mike Ashley be found on Arabic google before he bought NUFC? I reckon not. http://www.google.ae/search?q=mike+ashley+sports+direct+news+2005&hl=ar&sa=2 Mike Ashley in an Arabic news source in its Arabic form? If you do the leg work and get "Mike Ashley" put into Arabic then we'll test it out. Otherwise we'll just put you down as talking nonsense, deal? I think it works the other way around kid. "kid" You haven't a clue what you're talking about. You want to believe it so you're adjusting your logic to fit. Nothing you've said is anything other than opinion. You have no idea whether or not Mike Ashley was known in the arab business world before he took over Newcastle United. You have no way to prove your stance. You're just spouting shit. If you're not willing to engage your prefrontal cortex then we have nothing to discus. All we have are the papers - who have been far from accurate so far - reporting on a dubious source. Yet you're still unwilling to concede that this is anything other than gospel. Your stupidity has me trembling with rage, tbh. love it.

Heres some evidence of how rich this Sirous bloke is? http://www.arabianbusiness.com/richlist/list?clr=2&sort=rank :bng: Yeah right, it also says that the Bin laden family does Construction & Industry. Far from that really. Have you seen the comments? I was wanting to know if any of these billionaires would be willing to donate money to help me and my family to better our lives, and help me start a business. Thank you William B.Starnes

A one week rolling contract might be more appropriate. Ambitious.

It's easier to win the Champions League than it is to win our league, just ask Liverpool.
-
Fine. Tell me that when it comes to the Champions League quarters and Wolfsberg are still there, then I will admit I was wrong. I must have missed those seasons when The Champions late stages were dominated by German teams, instead of English and Spanish clubs, it's getting that close in terms of quality. Sssssh man, as all us Newcastle fans know high attendances and a good set of supporters gets you everywhere.

I can't believe people would want Keegan back after all s*** that has happened. I have been a Toon supporter long before Keegan was in charge. I didn't say everyone should want him back, just respect him for what he's done for the club. Imagine how much respect he'd have had last year had he just grinned and bared it, kept us up (which I've no doubt he would have done even with the very same squad), and then resigned this summer unhappy with how the club was run, but with us still in the Premiership? It's what he should have done, though maybe even he didn't see relegation for us, just another shite season.
-
That was so around 5-10 years ago. But things have changed. If you would have seen Bundesliga the last 2-3 seasons you would know that it was rubbish what u said. Bundesliga gets better and better, from the Fans and attendence side it already is the best league in the world, and the quality is also not that far away no more from England and Spain. Then swappin for the league champions who play Champions league makes sense, but not at all. They have Grafite, who scored 28 Goals and 11 Assists by only 25 Matches last season, and Dzeko of who Wolfsburg rejected a 25 millions bid, who scored 26 Goals and 10 Assists by 32 Matches last season. They never played with 3 strikers and they wont do it now too so Martins will only be sittin on the bench. Hm? Tho we don't have winter break no more since that season so he will miss as much matches as he would have missed in England. Honestly just wow, I'm in awe.

He needs to find the actual article on this website: http://www.ilna.ir/ Sent him an email, hopefully i get a reply, not sure if he's got constant access to the net though, probably find out tis a fake by then.

How is that arabian site rehashing the SUN? you really believe any of those quotes from either source? wake up man! same fooking story mate, written differently,. to avoid plagiarism ofcourse, the Sun mentions an arab in Dubai, that fooking iranian website mentions some guy based in UAE which is where Dubai is in. same fooking sh1t. Are you that stupid? Bollocks, where are the quotes in the sun? They mention the same name, that's the only similarity. Right swear filter off, now to get you to quote properly.

I know an Iranian, what do you want translated?

Considering the press have been duped once already, if they've done it again you got to give them huge credit.
