Terrible. That´s not so bad considering the idiots that we had managing the team at times felt players like Amdy Faye and Alan Smith would offer more in midfield.. How many starts has Owen got in that time? Those idiots didn't get a chance to play him he was injured FFS. And don't use Owen as a comparison, i'm not too thrilled with his injury record either, but at least we got a string of games and goals out of him at the end of this season.

Just a shame he's took triple that off us in wages.

What we did with Zoggy, it happens.

Terrible.

They've nearly moved one player out, its not exactly giant steps but i am happy with it. Bringing in a replacement is going to be the tough part, lets hope we don't leave it too late, although Emre's replacement can wait until the next window as much good as Emre did for the team.

A Citeh fan on Thaskin selling Dunne: It's all part of his masterplan. Everything will come good. We don't need a manager, a captain or indeed any other players. mackems.gif

I'm glad KK is will to get rid of Emre, a talented player but who never offered enough to the team due to injury. It holds well in his future assessments of Duff, Viduka & Smith for me.

nail. hit. on head. Its a load of tosh considering the contracts cannot start till the 1st July, and with pre season starting mid way through July it really only leave 2 weeks of pay to make up.

So far i think we've seen one player (Modric) that everyone agreed on (Wise/Vetre/Mort/Ashley/KK) and we went for him and failed. Don't think we've made a single bid since.

When i find out any details i will let you know. Eh? Its doing the net rounds, trying to find out if it mean owt or not.

Aye a penthouse that needs its window ledges painting has more iron on it and around it than Borstal and boasts plastic seats with a combined worth of a quid.

Nicely summed up. Should be put on his NUFC footballing gravestone

If you don't understand how much constant injuries can effect a palyers worth to the club and to the team then yes, people don't.

You know he won player of the year at Inter. Madness, all the Inter fan on another used i used to go on were laughing at us for paying money for him. It's why i've never held much hope for him from the off.
-
How do you know? Because he has things in his locker other players don't have, touch, vision and technique. Are you telling me you'd rather have Barton, Butt or Geremi playing through-balls over Emre? He's also got a fantastic reputation in Europe has played and done well at one of the biggest clubs in the world and can simply do things in our team that no-one else can. Just because he's suffered with injury a fair bit in the past (as have many people under the previous regimes) doesn't mean he can't be fully fit and reach his potential at the club. I know at this point of the season we're supposed to be negative about all our current players and think everyone we bring in is going to be the answer, but sometimes you can ignore the answers slightly closer to home. He might be a decent player and better than what we have, but 7 or so games a season with one or two being of notable performance isn't good enough, its crap. He was shite at Inter BTW, only the Turkish hangers on thought anything of him, we were the club taking a chance on him with his injuries, the next team to do so are thick as pig shit.

How do you know?
-
Aye, the St. James' sniper will have to go into full-time retirement.
-
You give us far too much credit.
-
Another player we've made mega rich gaining absolutely fuk all in return. This is what happens when you sign players and ignore their injury history (take note Ashton fans)

Small price to pay.
