  1. It only takes KK to disagree with the rest of them, which could quite be the case. I won't take it the wrong way, but i don't take what they say as any concern, i build up my own opinions from various sources or gut feelings and that's what this is. Just happens a few stories tie in with how i think, not my fault and certainly not me buying into anything printed.
  2. A lot of actual bids going in, confirmed by clubs rejected, whatever. When was the last confirmed bid we put in?
  3. Madness, like the bleak outlook of the 20-30 male Pole angry at life needs anymore encouragement to be violent. (Sorry to the Pole's for generalising, but that's the picture most news sources paint of current life there for a lot of people)
  4. Irrelevant since they are signing players and are obviously in agreement or allowing their chosen transfer system to work. If rumours are to be believed, our lot are not, could this be a genuine reason why things aren't going smoothly and swiftly? It makes sense.
  5. Just seen it on the news, heartbreaking stuff. RIP to the laddies, i hope the father finds it in himself to pull through for the mother, i doubt i could.
  6. Probably not, but i reckon a lot of 'this player is canny what about him?' replied with 'no, i want that one' is going on which is holding up any significant signings so far. I mean who needs to get on the same page for a transfer to happen? Ashley, Keegan, Wise, Vertre, Lambis? All those opinions having to match, is that how it is? If so were fuked and this is where my fear stems from.
  7. Fans Clash Ahead Of Euro Grudge Match Updated:15:15, Sunday June 08, 2008 Riot police have been forced to separate Germany and Poland fans as trouble flared ahead of this evening's Euro 2008 grudge match. Police have stepped up security Police have stepped up security Around 100 chanting fans were kept apart in the centre of Klagenfurt, Austria, when glasses were thrown. Seven Germany supporters were arrested in the trouble. Security has been stepped up ahead of the Group B clash amid fears World War Two hostilities will resurface and spark violence. Some 25,000 Germans and 20,000 Poles are expected for the game, descending on the small city of just 90,000 people. More than 2,300 police, including Polish officers, have been drafted in along with 2,000 private security agents. Cops are patrolling the streets and have set up road blocks. Elements of the Polish media have been accused of stoking-up tensions with inflammatory front pages. Advertisement One ran a mocked-up a picture of Poland coach Leo Beenhakker holding the decpaitated heads of Germany star Michael Ballack and coach Joachim Loew. Another portrays Beenhakker as a sword-wielding warrior about to strike Ballack. Security has also been stepped up on Austria's land borders with the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia. Police have been given lists of known thugs and vehicles are being checked for hooligans. The measures will stay in place until the tournament ends on June 29. Co-hosts Switzerland have also beefed up checks. The matches in Klagenfurt - which feature Germany, Poland and Croatia - are deemed high-risk because of the fans' reputation for violence. The Poles have a lot of mental nutcase hooligans with nothing to lose, this is minor to what i expect from them.
  8. Key. Fergie knows it, likes to get his players in before the window even opens. But who the fook is Fergie, what does he know? He's the manager of the biggest club in the world, with almost limitless funds and a succession of great players banging his door down to sign for them. Spot the difference. Of course all that helps, but it doesn't mean we can't do the same thing, have the same kind of policy.
  9. There does seem to be a high ratio of footballers and traffic violations in this Country compared to the norm. I bet half our squad have been caught speeding, well at one time i'm sure of it!
  10. Erm they are hardly the Enron of La liga but they are listening to offers for big wage earners who i'd think Zigic would be as he had a few offers over Valencia. Last i heard they are facing bankruptcy and why they are open to offers of £16m+ for their best play Villa.
  11. Key. Fergie knows it, likes to get his players in before the window even opens. But who the fook is Fergie, what does he know?
  12. Why's that then? Nowt to do with him being a good signing last summer is it? 'credit where credit is due, but lets not wait till the last day of the window to bring in key players and get them settling in when the season is underway'
  13. Valencia are fooked money wise aren't they? We could offer them a cash deal, and for a player that hasn't worked out i doubt the fee would be massive, we could get a good deal here. As for Enrique, its been said, no fuking way should we sell him.
  14. This Modric fella looks canny.
  15. Not sure i have read somewhere that we will Then we sack him and make him pay £5.8m. That will teach the tosser. He's made a massive effort since coming out of the clinic but we've got to look after the club, and getting our coin back would be the best thing for the club imo.
  16. If we sack him do we get our money back like Mutu having to pay Chelsea his transfer fee? If so sack him. I do think he's got a talent and could do well, but in the end of the day he deserves it and we can go get a player who isn't a walking time bomb.
  17. I don't think i said i was depressed (maybe i am!!!) just showing concern.
  18. Board seem to think we don't, it seems to think we need to sell more than we need to buy. I really hope my impatience looks foolish by the end of the window, but chances are i'll have been right to be worried from the off, the signs aren't good, and they certainly aren't getting any better. Long, tough, disappointing summer ahead. Fucking hell man. How on earth can you continue to follow this club with so little faith? It's all we have. The board could be close to a few new players, they might not. The truth is you simply don't know. So how can you criticise them, unless you know what they are trying and planning? I have no faith in the club, only love. Faith left a long time ago. If i thought they were trying i'd be happy, i just feel in all honesty the power struggle is real and is hampering our ability to sign players and if so its not going to resolve until someone is sacked. I could be wrong, i really could and hope i am, but then i could be right, its my opinion as that's what this club is best at, to disappoint and never take advantage of a good thing.
  19. August? You think the club needs to be bringing in players then? Excellent, miss pre-season, vital training sessions and player get togethers as we sit and wonder why our new signing(s) hasn't set the world alight and everyone is calling him shit after 5 games.
  20. Would love to know who is actually in charge of the transfers for the club right now.

  22. I agree with cutting the wage bill, it needs it, get rid of 90% of the team and start again, but it won't happen, and we'll just end up with more crap by the time the window closes and the wage bill difference will be minimal. So you're admitting you're slating the club for something that's not even happened yet? Come on man, give them a chance. If we're in the same situation in August you won't be alone in voicing your displeasure. Yeah and all i'll get at me is 'In hindsight this, in hindsight that' it happens every window.
  23. What can I say? People know the club inside out and know its failures.
  24. I agree with cutting the wage bill, it needs it, get rid of 90% of the team and start again, but it won't happen, and we'll just end up with more crap by the time the window closes and the wage bill difference will be minimal.
  25. What a load of shit. You're a tabloid newspaper's dream. I've given up on this boards ability to bring in anything that resembles a forward step in a player, i can possibly see them bringing in some same level clowns but that's about it. Not getting Gardner is an over exaggeration because i think that's the only calibre of player were going to be able to bring in this summer. Jesus wept Were Beye, Enrique and Faye not forward steps to what we already had in defence? I suppose they have had nearly a whole year though, lets all give up now Yes they were, credit where credit is due, but lets not wait till the last day of the window to bring in key players and get them settling in when the season is underway.
