  1. Honestly, Spurs have to out do us on fuking everything don't they?
  2. Based on their policy so far. Cut as much out of the wage budget as possible and sign no one.
  3. Weehay, lets be WHU and sign anyone!!1!!1! Do you assume KK is the one picking the players to bring in this time round?
  4. Terrible, what a fuking arsehole.
  5. Made a right fuk up selling that Joe Lewis to Peterbrough for £400k since then he's got on the bench for England and Everton have put in a £3m bid. (only sold him in the winter window) Divvy.
  6. Not if they turn out like the last lot.
  7. Were good at getting rid of players, just not so hot bringing them in.
  8. What a load of shit. You're a tabloid newspaper's dream. I've given up on this boards ability to bring in anything that resembles a forward step in a player, i can possibly see them bringing in some same level clowns but that's about it. Not getting Gardner is an over exaggeration because i think that's the only calibre of player were going to be able to bring in this summer.
  9. I think people really need to lower their expectations, even Gardner is a big ask from this club atm.
  10. General moaning about how shit things were here and how playing in midfield was going to hinder his international prospects (even though KK hadn't played him yet). Anyhow, that wasn't why I had come to post here... Anyone else think Rozehnal looked excellent yesterday? He was very comfortable on the ball, and defended in a very composed manner, making no noticeable errors. You can see why he was highly-rated pre Newcastle. Obviously Premier League football is a different kettle and fish and made him look like a complete mess, but was that thanks to the Allardyce style? Perhaps a team that focuse more on attack than defence would suit his obvious ability. Its a tough call, but I hope that Keegan is watching. didn't he and another czec player both go for a free header from a swiss long ball, miss it, and then the swiss had a good chance? that was always imo his biggest weakness when he played here, he's too indisisive and shite in the air, and in the PL you can't play like that. he was always good on the ball, he was good on the ball when he played for us, and his positioning is good, and he's not a bad tackler, but that weakness is a major one, you may get away with it in foreign leagues, but not i the premiership. He hasn't changed imo, but if we can't get decent money for him then we may as well give him another chance, as we can't really lose much. Was Ujfalusi and Grygera iirc. Ujfalusi was the Fantasy Football MOTM yesterday by the way. Load of shite as he went in a Steven Tayloresque headless chicken mode at times. Taylor doesn't even play a game and people on here give him grief, excellent.
  11. Us sign Ronaldinho? mackems.gif Us signing a player of any worth right now would be a near miracle.
  12. At least Barton has an Alibi for this one, press will be gutted.
  13. Footballer Held After Kids Die In Crash Updated:13:58, Saturday June 07, 2008 A 25-year-old professional footballer has been arrested after a crash on the M6 in which two children died this morning, Sky News sources say. The children, both boys and aged eight and 10, were killed after the smash involving two cars shortly before 5.45am. The man arrested was driving a black Range Rover and was not hurt in the crash. He is being held on suspicious of causing death by dangerous driving. The crash happened on the motorway's southbound carriageway near junction 16 in Staffordshire. The dead children had been travelling in a silver Toyota Previa people carrier with two other children and two men. Talking about the response by emergency services, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found two cars which had been involved in a collision. One of the cars had left the carriageway." It was the people carrier that went down and embankment and hit trees. The spokesman continued: "One child was confirmed dead at the scene. A second was taken on blue lights to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. Staff at the hospital had been put on alert awaiting the arrival of the child who later died. "A number of other people have also been taken to hospital." One man is believed to be in a critical condition in hospital. Witnesses are being asked to call the Central Motorways Police Group on 0121 626 1831.
  14. Agreed but in this case its quite funny since its Simon Jordan getting ripped off.
  15. Yeah the whole thing was just a bit of tbh, i haven't a clue who does what anymore, but at least it isn't all down to just one guy, its a start and as long as they all know who does what then it should work out well.
  16. How many people will go with Torres & C. Ronaldo? I probably would/will but neither have really been THAT great for NT have they? Its been a while since i've checked but as we know (Gerrard etc) Club & Country can be like playing two different games.
  17. That´s right, but in the case of all 3 players I think it´s fair to say it´s sometimes better to have a crock capable of doing something when he´s fit than to have a super fit player raring to go every match but who doesn´t have the required quality. Anyway, if we get good money I will feel this is a good deal, providing we replace him with someone better. Just about like, but i'd rather have neither and that's what i hope this summer is about. Good start getting him off our books, now for the super fit one (Smith).
  18. same here. Crazy! As for the reported £8m, it would be magic! But I'll believe it when I see it. £4m for Ameobi (plus loan fee) A buyer for Rozy £6m+ for Emre Wise = Hero. Wise = Legend if he can get £7m combined for Smith & Duff.
  19. Considering around 40%+ of those games will be him coming back from another injury, his assist and goal record isn't that bad. But then again that just proves what the majority know about Emre, good player, horrific injury record and better for the club that he's gone. Some people need to try supporting the club and look out for its interests instead of supporting certain players and looking out for them. See, I agree with much of that actually. I don´t see how people wanting us to keep our better players )and being a bit disheartened at losing one whilst holding on to our grafters) can be accused of not supporting the club though. I don't want the grafters with no talent either. I'll be as happy if not more when they've gone. For me its all about getting the right combination of player; mentally, physically and technically and paying the right amount in wages for that player. Emre had the technical skills in abundance, but lacked mental toughness, severely lacked any physical presence (not to mention injuries) and was being paid an astronomical wage. It doesn't add up, well what it adds up too is another footballer being made a multi millionaire by this club from its fans for next to nothing in return. Right now were spunking £1.2m per week on wages when really the ability of them combined suggests that wage bill should be something like £500k, less than half. Emre was on £65kpw (reportedly and believably so with the wages bill announced the other day) even a fit Emre isn't worth that and the Emre we have experienced isn't even worth £20kpw imo. One down that's all, so many more to go, and if that's Ashley's plan then i'm all for it.
  20. Considering around 40%+ of those games will be him coming back from another injury, his assist and goal record isn't that bad. 21. £3.5m in wages for 20 games a season. Bargain.
  22. Just a shame he's took triple that off us in wages. You´re going on like he robbed us ffs. Do you expect players to come play for us for nothing? I can think of a dozen players in our squad who´ve done less to earn their wages. Oh shut up you little tart. You´re pathetic the way you´re going on. I´ve said this before in another context to somebody else, but you´re going on like the player bumped your girlfriend. I can´t personally see a reason for celebrating another talented player who has left this club after failing to offer us what we know he´s capable off. Edit, oh I see you removed that reply. Internet hardman turned bottler then.. No just think you are a little spastic and not worth it, just like Emre and his wages. Tosser.
