I was stunned for about 3mins while i ran around the bar like a headless chicken. Then i sank a few double vodka reds, gathered my composure, ran home and started to join the party on here. It really wasn't a natural reaction tbf, that came after and that was one of too much bloody sentiment from a club full of it. We missed a chance to start again, go forward with an up to date manager hungry and in love with the game. KK is having to find that all over again, while we fight a relegation battle. Its not as bad as what it could have been though, we could have ended up with another no mark, and at least we know he cares. Given money he'll leave us in a better place and right now progression is all we can hope for. In the end of the day he could possibly be the right man for the job because no one would get the time and paitence or backinh he will recieve from us and the board to get it right. The board cant go sacking him, they've brought him in and he's a fans favorite, it would be financial suicide if they did. So he's here, and he's here for a bit imo, and as long as he keeps us in the prem this season, and builds a sqaud next i have no problem with that, but going back to that day, my personal pref would have been Didi all day long.

Who's Max Johnson?
-
I'm not a fan of Riise, rather have Shorey for a more attacking fullback. I'm actually quite pleased with Enrique, i hope we stick with him. I'd rather have defenders who can defend rather than crack a decent free kick now and then.

NUFC: Fraser Forster, Ben Tozer, Tamas Kadar, David Edgar, Lamine Diatta, Peter Ramage, Jonny Godsmark, Mark Doninger, Shola Ameobi, Andy Carroll, Kazenga LuaLua Subs: Darren Lough, Max Johnson, Callum Morris, Wesley Ngo Baheng, Fabio Zamblera Canny looking reserve side imo. Is Diatta playing in mid or we playing 5 at the back?

Butt was easily our best midfielder last night. I think we'd get completely over-run wuth N'Zogbia in there, along with the 3 up front. Butt had a point to prove, he'll never play that well again in the rest of his career imo. Even so, you're basically saying we should play 4 up front, even after seeing Geremi and Barton last night?? 4? No 3. I'd like to see it, hammer a few teams with it at home, the ones who sit back and hope for a point, then when we get some goals in we revert to 442 and tighten up ourselves. A lot of teams will be playing for the draw coming to SJP, and we really need the points. It might backfire, but then again anything and everything we do tends too anyway.

Martins is the key to us surviving, always has been, lets hope he doesn't pick up any injuries it would be a nightmare run in without him. Take butt out and play zoggy and i'd be quite happy seeing that team for the rest of the season.

Re: Relegation might be a good thing mackems.gif Tbf it would solve some problems, but it would create so many more, its not even worth thinking about.

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

Agreed. Feel a lot better with that point, crucial as it was. We've got 3 winnable home games, we should take 6pts minimum from them, our aways are just bonus games now. -
Honestly don't think i'd want him here. We'd never get anything back from him, his wages would be mental, you couldn't plan for a future with him, and he's been a walking injury for two years now, his form has taken a hit from it and i think we've seen the best of him at Arsenal, its all down hill from now on. Great player on a decline, its really not what we need unless we were getting him for free.

Ireland was just offside (any talk of a couple of yards is pathetic) i can see how that could be given, but Bent's goal was a fuking goal, spuds got ripped with that one without a doubt.
-
Been saying it for years. Welcome to reality folks, have a seat.
-
Draw all over it like.
-
Mint. a Spuds V Arsenal hissy fit on a NUFC forum. Its what i signed up for, honest.
-
They have also lost against Villa and Man Utd Good old SSN They must have meant this year or under McScot or i didn't hear that part then.
-
Wouldn't surprise me if were looking for a new manager already. KK has been shite since his return.
-
Brum have lost one game at home all season (against Chelsea) - SSN. If true we stand no fuking chance tbf.

As a scouser and st holder at Liverpool, (but live in north shields) your home match when you got beat off city was the worst ive seen. aia went as her dads mate, who has a st couldnt make it. City fans took the piss, i said to her dad how quiet newcastle were, and he said its likme that a lot. Much quieter than we were againt youse last week, but home atmospheres everywhere arnt great, ours was average again today. Craic is, we've got fuk all to sing about, depressing times and depressing football. 2 CL finals in 3 seasons was it not and you cannot rise to any occasion bar the end of the match for 5mins if you are comfortably winning? Sad really. Liverpool are supposed to be a 'special club' when in fact they are average, nowt wrong with that, just sick of the self promotion like everyone else.

Glad to see Defoe doing well. Still rather have Martins, he'd be lethal at Pompy.

Cunts. Die cunts. Smoggies cunts die.

Playing on a Monday means the players can't ruin our weekend. That's what i meant!
-
Wigan vs Bolton is the biggest game of the weekend for us, by some distance imo. Apart from our own like, that's quite important too. Is that tomorrow? Draw written all over it. I heard Gerrard dived again today. Filthy cunt.

Results went well for us today, just need Arsenal and this is our best weekend in quite a while.
