  1. I was more excited in the other thread. This one is dull. Utter shit isnt it. James has killed of the discussion. Well done pratt. One of the most pointless bits of modding i've seen in quite some time tbh. It should be allowed to run its course, why force a big thread like that to close before its time? 'I'm mod, i close thread, coz i can'

  3. Barton, Ben Haim & Viduka in exchange for an ineffective Scott Parker. Fuking wow.
  4. Agreed. It could possibly put Liverpool in a title race, which is what every Liverpool fan wants, and hasn't properly have for many many years.
  5. Martins against the Spuds was better than the Manu team goal. But, so many people complain that its all individual efforts and thats not what football is all about, then a manu team goal comes along when they've won the league, it was always going to win, the whingers have only themselves to blame.
  6. Just like Vieria. Expect him to go if Liverpool offer £20m. Just like Vieria. Expect him to go if Liverpool offer £20m. you'd pay 20M for vieria? nuts... That's not the point i'm making mate. What am saying Wenger chased in on him about a year after his peak even though he was an exceptional player as he knows its the last chance to get good money for him.

  8. Would be the transfer of the summer. I know SSN's reckon every transfer is 'transfer of the summer' but i think this would be if it went through. Barca are looking at £15m for him, if Liverpool want him surely Arsenal will ask for £20m. If either bid came in Arsenal would be mad to turn down either.
  9. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a249/johnson293/parker.gif Nice!!! Thats the one, got the vid on my mobile, just cracks me up and the fact there was no free kick given and Joe Cole looked so shell shocked when he got up. fkn class!! We can only hope for a repeat against Dyer if he moves. (Hopefully Bowyer will have a word with him)
  10. Probably intelligence tbh. Two very similar players, only one needed.
  11. Excellent day of business, is there a top up fee or we only getting the flat £7m? If so were stupid.
  12. One of these would of done. My sarcasm detector is broken today.
  13. the mirror and sun both say a deal worth £17.5m (46 grand a week) Stupid Alan then. No surprise. £46,000-a-week on a five year deal would be £12,000,000. Oliver's almost right, as £17,500,000 would be rougly £67,000-a-week. Oliver has got it wrong. Everywhere else bar 'Oliver the tit' and 'jump the gun yellow bar mother fukers SSN's' have reported the figure around £45k a week, with a £5.5m fee, which nicely fits into a £17.5m deal overall.
  14. Not really a public thing though is it? He's not parading in front of the camera's holding a shirt up with Barton on it etc... He's just greeting his new player to the club, that's all, which shows his interest, he's probably really enjoying himself, any football fan would no matter what club.
  15. Another thing i noticed in the article is it says Ashley was at the training ground to meet Barton. I think that's good news he's here and being involved and FS isn't pushing him out of the picture or being stroppy. I guess a deal will be done soon enough for the club.
  16. But Arsenal can only offer him a one year contract which he'd throw in their faces. (i guess your talking about Giuly not Parker) Not sure about Giuly, was mint 1st season at Barca, done next to nowt since.
  17. Aye, i think our clown prince has got his figures wrong, he's added them up wrong. Must of failed maths as well as English.

Loving this close season so far!!!! Its simply been the best closeseason since i've cared about transfer dealings & managerial appointments.
  19. They're from NI, Belfast as far as I know. Even though I'm from NI myself I don't follow the 'Carnegie Premier League', my team, Derry City, are in the Eircom League (in the republic, it's a long story...) Aye, sounds like an Irish whiskey or Liquor.
