Net debt, they owe much more than that, £88m IIRC. Still a good deal, although their stadium is worth nothing, we are valued around the £100m mark by FS & the Halls, its was the land deal that bumped it up again, IIRC. , and it was only in that ball park with the joint Casino deal thing, which isn't happening, best we can hope for is a hotel.

He was a quality player at Spurs before he got that bad injury. To blame it all on one injury is too easy, and no doubt thats what he's doing in his mind. His attitude is disgusting, he could easily get himself fitter and improve his game but he doesn't have the drive to succeed. He thinks at his age there is nothing left for him to learn, unfortunately for him there are 19 year olds out there with more footballing knowledge than him, he should retire. I'm just saying he was good prior to that. I'm not defending him now, I think he's taking the piss here. We should never have bought him though. He'd been average at Spurs for a while prior to our signing him. No no, not having a crack at you, i've heard 100's of people say the same thing about the injury (and i also believe the little wanker thinks it himself), including Spurs fans & Irish fans, but for me its not good enough. You just have to look at Shearer for a complete comparison to the little cunt, there was someone with drive, someone who cared about his career and the football he played.

A class above what we've got, but not the man i'd want here. We cannot afford to take a chance with our next appointment, i think he would be a risk, his personality is questionable & although he's shown he can adapt in the past, we would require someone on the ball from the start, we couldn't afford a transitional period, the fans would barely allow it, and the pace clubs evolve in the EPL we could go backwards beyond repair within a season (He'd want big wages, and big money to spend on players, and if it went wrong, he misjudged or had really bad luck and were in the position to sack him, instead of being £80m in debt, we'd be £100m+ and in the same position now, maybe worse). We could easily be re-ignited and sort it all out, but its 50-50 for me if he can do it with us.

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=446394&CPID=219&clid=359&lid=2&title=Scolari+eyes+English+move&channel=football_home& Scolari eyes English move By Peter ORourke - Created on 6 Feb 2007 Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has admitted he would like to work in England in the future. Scolari came close to succeeding Sven Goran Eriksson as England coach last year before pulling out of the move because of the media scrutiny he found himself under. The Brazilian World Cup winner is currently in England with Portugal as he prepares them for a glamour friendly with his home nation and he admits he is attracted by the possibility of working in England. "I would like to work in England," said Scolari. "The involvement from everyone in the game is spectacular. It is a country which is very interested in football and any coach would want to work there. "I have trained in Japan, Arabia, Kuwait, Brazil and Portugal and can adapt to any place. It depends on the proposal and offer that is made to me, the financial rewards and the standard of living. "I have a contract with Portugal and want to help them qualify for the Euro 2008 finals, but if we don't manage to achieve that, it will not be a good situation. "After that period I want to remain in Europe for another four or five years because my family are stable. "I don't know where I will go in the future."

Woody denies, thought this would happen.
-
Its said Madrid and Boro have agreed the sale on SSN's, does this mean Woody hasn't actually agreed terms yet, or just worded wrongly? Shame for the lad if he does join, he could be playing for a real football club.

A sign of no money being made available in the summer as well. I wouldn't mind if its going to pay off some of the debts we have, but we all know its going to the FS & Halls retirement fund.
-
Talk about games being played behind closed doors for the rest of the season. I think that would be appropriate punishment, but still is not a solution to the problem.

'yo mama?' You sad little individual.

No need for 2 years, NUFC have found another level of stupidity.

If we do then the situation is obviously different. My argument was about the pathetic non-injuries that are used by clubs to worm their players out of international duty. I agree, very Fergie of GR to do this. I'd just get to the point and tell him and the Nigerian FA he's not going to play in some meaningless friendly while were struggling for bodies. Club before Country, we pay his wages, we cannot afford to lose him.
-
Don't we have a right to say no to friendly call ups? If so fuk off.
-
I would say these lot get the credit and praise they deserve.
-
Roeder added: "Stephen Carr was very disappointed to get out-muscled for the second goal, but there can't be many more powerful players in the Premiership than Boupa Diop. The excuses just roll off for GR's gimp.
-
In disbelief GR picked him ahead of anyone who can actually defend. If Carr defense, GR is the one who picks him, and if GR cannot see how much of a liability he is when on the pitch, then GR needs to go along with him. Another reason why GR shouldn't be our manager past this season.

Anybody ever see him out and about who's willing to do some jail time for the greater good of the club? You think the fuker dares parade himself around Newcastle? Permenant resident in Sunderland i reckon.
