It is, and they are. Its where they are in the coping process, unfortunately.

Glad to see people are now on board the Popemobile. Dubs lost it some time ago. A liability when not injured for the last 2 seasons, it's sad but true. But I've banged that drum enough, lets hope its a few year before the same happens to Pope.

Don't think Sarr is as far along as people think fwiw. I'd also like to see us go for him as well and call it a day.

Absolute hell on when this is rejected tomorrow.

* FFP * Want value for money * Want the right characters * Going for players bigger clubs than us want as well * Clubs still trying to squeeze us for PIF tax * Agents & clubs moving goalposts * Believe patience is key * Lack of sponsors coming in this season * Still getting the right people into positions behind the scenes * Building relationships with other clubs

Probably using 'Reaper Cushions' to do it with.

We're in a Country which has just made it illegal to protest. Shame we're (generally) not as concerned about our own liberty & freedom as we are with others. Give it another decade and we'll be more like them than they are like us (the west - which was everyone's hope) Seems governments across the globe are now free to do what they want to their citizens, and even those who aren't. Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Afgan & KSA are standout players, but the West have been doing diluted versions of this for decades, and seem to be getting more upfront about it as time goes on. I think at this stage we're all oppressed, just different levels and what we consider tolerant. It'll never get better either.

Guess that's the bench for wor Gayle again.

Rather go for Sarr, sure he's being linked for a lot less than £25-35m. Spend that on Ramos and get Sarr in. Job done till next summer.

If we get a chance to break the wage limit on a genuine superstar, we will. We won't be doing it on Jesse fucking Lingaard and rightly so. If any player has an issue with us paying someone like Messi £500kpw, they can go drown in the North Sea. They should be thinking this player moves us on to the next level, gives us European football and actually helps my prospects of getting a better wages as we get closer to the top. We won't do it buying average players on average wages, or if we do, it'll be so slow that those who are there won't be playing when we finally arrive.

Getting in to 13th choice and Bruce territory. Luckily he's at the start of his career and lots to offer going forward. Right now though, I'm not sure what he does for us.
-
Really nothing more than that apart from add-ons. He probably needs a goalscoring season in the championship before making any difference to an established prem team.

I think Burnley & Watford will come straight back up, but it does feel different this time for Norwich. There is barely any quality in the squad bar Aarons, who probably isn't making too much noise about moving as he's lost a lot of confidence in himself. They'll need their very good academy to produce a few almost ready players for the league, and that's still possible. Idah & and the other young Irish lad with the silly name are supposed to be good, they've got Hayden who is far too good for that level but they may need a couple more signings, probably loans to make sure of it though. WBA will come in to it in the 2nd half of the season once they finally realise their Bruce error. Hopefully he hasn't done them too much damage.

Can take a while for the fallen prem clubs to get going. Usually a lot of ins and outs plus new manager trying to put their spin on things. Norwich's poor start is surprising though. Probably down to yo-yo fatigue, thinking, here we go again.

Imagine getting that close. Be like Michelle Keegan giving you the come to bed eyes, but she asks you to put the bins out before coming up to bed and you just sit there in the living room by yourself for the rest of the night thinking about how its not even bin day.

Wonder if they'd take £20m + Wood.
-
Let's hope you have the same opinion this time next week after a goalless draw with ourselves.

Manu V Liverpool next Monday is a win-win whatever the result. I really can't decide what I want more. Think Manu getting bummed again would be the funniest, but seeing liverpool with 3 or less pts from 3 games would be a delight as well. The real winners are Citeh, unfortunately.

Would love a 3rd clean sheet.

The creative elements of our team need to step up now like the defensive side did since the start of the year. Almiron found the net in Pre season, ASM can do it just needs to find consistency and willock was bought off the back of half a season of him farting in goals. Even wood should be able to provide and assist. His record at this level nowhere near as bad as what we've seen from him. We can't replace them all right now so some of them who want to remain need to sharpen up or fuck off. No more hangers on. You'd hope at least a couple step up like shelvey, Joelinton, Schar & kraft did last season. Finding a consistent winning formula with Willock & ASM is what I'd be looking at, with some optimism wood and almiron become something to use off the bench.

Belotti still on a free but it looks like Roma may get him. Surely in a JoMo setup there is no room for him & Tammy. Wonder if the incoming free would tempt Roma to sell Tammy for a decent profit?
-
Yup. It's getting boring. Either its the press not knowing or the club not adapting. I still think its the press, but doubt is creeping in slightly.
-
They'll be pissed off and uncomfortable tonight, sitting on the floor after boycotting chairs due to his goal and assist.
-
I'm sure someone will donate them some marrapoints along the way.

Sounds like their new young CB has had a potential season end injury. Hopefully not for him.
