https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7667979/amp/Sunderland-keeper-acts-ballboy-FA-Cup-tie-Stadium-Light-stand.html Pre covid so no excuse.

Remember when their keeper had to scale 20 rows of seats to go collect the ball? ? Small time cunts.

I reckon vardy will want to leave the country after his wife has made him the biggest laughing stock in football. Torrent of abuse and ridicule awaits him if he stays in the league.
-
They've fallen a tier. Couple of poor signings and the fall another, especially with their financial restraints
-
Just winding up their fans watching the forum. ?

Whatever happens to Maddison it seems Leicesters time in the sun is at an end. It's hard for their fans to accept, it was for us, but they'll look back in a few years and see it for what it really is. Same will happen to us again in a decade or so. Just like manu and Liverpool before them. It's a shame, but a small Midlands town was never going to continuously compete with global clubs. No one outside the UK or their owners home country cares enough to support them. We'll find the same difficulties at some point, but our natural ceiling is larger, and Leicester have achieved quite a bit for a club and town it's size.

Done. Would love.to see the results at some point.

I'd clear the decks of our goalkeepers from last season, then bring in a couple of young talents such as Toby Savin and hope one comes good. If need be get a serial 3rd choicer to bring experience. Not really fussed in seeing dubs or darlow on the bench. Rather take ours chances on the future and if something bad happens to pope then you use the next window to bring in competition/more suitable cover.

100% certain they paid in instalments. It was the final kicker of the transfer.
-
Could be £6m and its 8m euros and someone has mixed it up. That would be 25% in the 4th year.
-
They met the release clause, then we accepted installed payments over 4 years (I remember thinking at the time WTF? But Rafa had just left and all the wheels were coming off) We're 3 year in to that, so there will be some left over.
-
Dubs plus the £8m owed for Perez will go along way to sealing this. It probably will be £45m cash plus those 2 extras. Works for me.
-
He's lucky he's still there imo. Think they were hoping Manure would do them a favour.

We could really help Leicester out here by doing the right thing and buying Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes. #savethefoxes

Must be nearly touching the sack, depending on temperature.
-
Is what it is. Dust ourselves down and go again.
-
Ours with a load of overpaid shite and no commercial exposure to where Leicester are probably maxed at what they can bring in.
-
Leicester are. Everyone pays in installments unless hitting a release clause. Even then some clubs will accept it. We seem to be the only club paying upfront under Ashley so our books are totally unbalanced compared to most clubs.
-
It's not funds they are struggling with, but wages. Actually a spread out deal isn't a bad thing for them. They need to thin the squad though.

New transfer rumour thread incoming. Going for 105 pages before a new bid accepted 275 pages before official player 655 pages on 1st sept.
-
Is that the fake account or real? Can't tell these days.

Something seems off at Leicester. Lots of money invested in infrastructure but seem to have put a for sale sign on lots of their best players. It's like they're saying we've give it a shot, it hasn't worked, so we're downsizing and cutting our cloth accordingly. We'll use our academy over the next few years to support. It could be should they continue they end up in an Everton type situation, however their assets are so much more desirable. Maybe the owners just aren't as invested now and want to cut back.
-
I agree, but then it makes me think they ran said data on a potato for the Wood calculations
-
Major over achievement for them to get low mid table imho. They are the weakest team promoted, and the weakest team in this league. Their promotion buzz as you put it looks to have fizzled even earlier than anticipated and they are going to struggle to match the quality and fitness of other teams in the league. All they have is that buzz. If its gone, it doesn't return with fans like theirs. They'll be all over the ownership & manager after a few defeats demanding that they deserve better.
