    Rafa Benítez

Since the moment of our arrival we have really been touched by the kindness and respect that we have been shown. Our hosts have treated us with great consideration and are always keen to make us happy. As we all know from experience, in football, just as in everyday life, when people show you respect and affection and do everything they can to make things easier for you, life is much happier, even when you face difficult moments. I must say that I have had more meetings with the Chairman, the President and the General Manager this week, than I had in 3 years at Newcastle. They haven't just been work meetings, rather signs of respect in which we have been able to appreciate the differences and similarities in our cultures.
  2. First and last line in that first list should've been swapped. Pandering straight away to the #notdaregime crew removes some of the fizzle. It's trying to bridge the divide, I totally understand and respect what they are doing there. It's Us Vs Ashley, not Us vs Us vs Ashley.
  3. Tyso- Jackso- Hm. how did you not mention jordan As if nobody has mentioned Iron Mike Williamson.
  4. Won't get Bruce not because "Fuck off it's Steve Bruce" but because we can't afford him This club. We'll probably offer them Aarron's or Lazaar as compo.
  5. If it's going to happen it's going to be between now and Thursday imo.
  6. Mourinho with JT as assistant.
  7. Had a look at the Chronicle for the first time in ages, and they are implying the hold up is the PL approval as well, also noting that these things drag on in many cases. Something like 20 odd potential buyers of clubs have been kiboshed by the Premier League down the years - supposedly their criteria is very tough. Yes I know it is the Chronicle, but would seem to explain why there is such a hold up assuming there is actually a sale being proposed. Has anyone from the FA actually rubbished the BZG claims as of yet? Some serious questions need to be answered by the PL/FA if they knock back BZG allowing Ashley to continue his reign of unfit and un-proper ruling of the club. The rule that's there to apparently protect us inflicts more misery on us.
  8. It's a better XI than the one which one the title. Better manager as well. Leicester have done well. Good luck to them.
  9. Why not log back in as Odin? - I miss him posting under that user name. D. Yimentov Fooling no one frankly I'm not Odin. He's a little slug compared to me. And if you want to keep slinging petty accusations, name any pub car park between Cramlington and Birtley and I'll meet you there, man on man. But I'm warning you, I'm big and I'm hard . Sounds like something Thor would say.
  10. Good signing. 25 goals last season.
  11. If that is what is happening I hope they pull out last minute and it blows up in his face.
  12. Imagine it being rejected by the fa yet they have happily say back and watched the cunt bleed us dry for years.
  13. The perfect statement to string this along another week until it’s too late to do a deal. This is their Kenyon letter moment.
  14. Sad state of affairs, but it's where we are.
  15. 20/1...got a fiver on him.
  16. Then there is what the spend on matchday. If ST are down, single sales will be down as well, could be more like 36-38k attendances, lowest since we expanded. It's a clear message to him and when we go down expect another 10-15k to walk away. The club would be finished.
  17. Positive me: Aye, sounds like they are waiting on something to happen and to be able to give further info rather than just a statement with little else in it. Negative me: We're being played, everything is bad.
  18. 13 years since he last managed in England. 11 years since Curbs left West Ham. Yet both names still frighten me whenever we don't have a manager.
  19. Jesus Christ, what a weird comment.
  20. £20m for Mings, still mental.
