I'm sure Pardew or McClaren would have been smug and self congratulory over such a win.
But Rafa will be business as usual and would have privately wanted to win by two goals and will work hard to improve. Which is why we can trust him.
I feel sorry for most of the top 10 teams apart from Brighton. A lot of them look fairly good with a good chance of automatic promotion or at least the playoffs.
Only it won't happen because we are in this division!
We have supposedly been scouting a few centre half and if we look like going up by January I wonder if we will look at getting a player in that position who would be signed to become our first choice centre half (with a neat 4 months to bed in)
Whilst this could be a Lascelles replacement more likely Mbemba is off if he couldn't make the bench this weekend and had hardly been seen since Wolves.
That was hilarious. I actually have a bit more respect for Warnock after that, he's not just an obscene loudmouth on tv, he does that shit in the dressing room as well.
I think he is being quite fair tbh and Morgan is as thick as fuck.
Being Newcastle and the 6-0 this smells like 0-0 tbh.
Oh well maybe we can turn this around with our three full backs, centre back and goalie on the bench (we are actually a little depleted by injuries at the mo)
One team I want to completely avoid all season is Man Utd as I suspect their manchild manager will use it as an opportunity to dig up old feuds in the press, and I'd rather we stay under the radar a little.
Weird logic. I'd rather they drew each other and we got someone shit.
Ultimately though you would then get one of the big clubs who will be confident because they beat the others en route.
We would have no chance against Liverpool or Arsenal in the final.
However against Southampton? Maybe.
