    Colin Calderwood

Who do you suggest? Not that I'm disagreeing btw. There are lots of people really many of whom are unknown to me, but I'd like to see a young lower league manager who has ambitions to make it at the top flight and has shown some signs of doing alright in the lower divisions.

This may seem really radical but how about an assistant with a good track record who has no past affiliation with NUFC or Spurs?
  3. Hughton first saw Tiote a couple of years ago apparently when he was sent by Keegan to watch him.
  4. He's not the most talented player and does frustrating stuff, but over a season you can always rely on Shola.
  5. what did you expect when we bought him ? Hadn't really seen him play, was pleased we signed him as was clearly the player Hughton and Calderwood wanted as they'd been tracking him for months and I trusted their judgement especially as Calderwood was his ex manager. I was in the wrong to do so. you get nowt for nowt in this world You realise that we paid a 7 figure fee for him?

  7. Starting left back for La Liga runners up when we signed him.
  8. In case anyone from the club sees this, 14% is approximately the proportion of members on this forum who support other clubs.
  9. Thing about Jonas is that he is a bit unpredictable in terms of the direction he moves on a bad day. Perch was probably just bambi-ing around and just happenned to be accidentally tracking him.
  10. I'll join if they have a Perch Out campaign.
  11. We'd been chasing Perch for over half a season so would hardly call him a cheap gamble. Our management wanted him, presumably based on the mediocre performances he produced as a teenager for Calderwood in League One.
  12. great minds think alike. I called this a few weeks ago. I got shouted down before the game for saying that he was one of the worst players to play in this league, but he really is at the same level as Fumaca and Ali Dia.
  13. Sol injured unfortunately. It is Taylor or Kadar. Or Routledge or Shola. Or Smith or Ranger Or even Soderberg would be better.
  14. That would just block the progress of a much more promising youngster.
  15. Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful player. Complete liability. Wouldn't wish him playing for our own worst enemies. If he never played for us again, I would celebrate.
  16. Perch for both. Got pushed out of the way for the first by N'Zogbia who gave him the lightest tap on the shoulder, and for the second was just standing still 30 yards out while Zog ran past him on the counter.
  17. Zog just skinned Perch in the area. Fortunately Guthrie tracked back.
