    Titus Bramble

The crime was reported very quickly, so if one of the Bramble's is guilty there will be injuries.
  2. Completed 98% of his passes on Saturday.

  4. Lee Dixon is probably my favourite.
  5. The line-up is just too consistent and has therefore got a bit complacent and stale. Perhaps they need to draw from a pool of 3 or 4 regular pundits plus several other guest pundits, make the pundit team work for the right to comment on the big matches.

    Keeper Crisis!

Shola Amagoalie Geordie lad willing to step in if Krul gets injured.
  7. Playing for Falkirk Carlisle and the few NUFC games by 21 is much better experience than playing for Celtic and Norwich. And experience is all that separates them.
  8. I can see Gosling being mostly used on the right if Barton and Tiote stay in form this season. I look at our team and think where are the goals? Carroll will get double figures, but will prove inconsistent as he is young and beyond that I can't guarantee goals from any of the other players, you just have to place hopes on Barton, Nolan and Ben Arfa.
  9. Management not taking a risk? I think you'll find with the majority of keepers that make it, they've been given a chance to show what they can do with an injury, and taken it. This is Krul's chance. Lets see if he takes it.
  10. These are the ages some of the better keepers in the past started getting given regular games by their clubs: Given 21 Hart 19 van der sar 21 Reina 20 Cech 20 The bottom line of all this is simple, keepers may take a while to peak like any player, but they still need to get games young if they want to make a name for themselves.
  11. He is also about the age Given made his first appearances.
  12. Yep. 2+2=5. If Soderberg isn't ready yet, bring in someone's 3rd choice to play on the bench. Krul needs the managements faith. If we aren't going to give him a few games now, we never will.
  13. Had another rethink: Krul Coloccini Campbell Williamson Enrique Taylor Tiote Barton Nolan BenArfa Carroll

Well Friday is the big day, see if the planning committee will go with Mr. Storey's recommendations or not.
  15. According to Bobby Robson, Shearer's most underrated attribute was that he could finish the ball just as well regardless of whether it came from the right, the left or the centre. I'm not sure Drogba has quite that range.
  16. Guys, you have talked me out of my old team. Now I propose: Krul Taylor Williamson Coloccini Enrique Barton Tiote Nolan Ben Arfa Lovenkrands Carroll Although if Carroll's ankle needs a rest to properly recover, play Shola.

These are only the recommendations to be given by planning officer Matthew Storey at the committee meeting. Planning Officers do not normally take public objections into account. They just point out their existence. Final decision will be made at the committee meeting which will consider the planning officer's recommendations but also any public objections. So therefore the final decision will be made at the committee meeting on the 17th.
  18. No need for the abuse, I'm entitled to my opinion, and you are entitled to disagree, but at least be civil.

  20. Thinking about Jonas, he does have some good attributes like his work rate, stamina, his ability to hold onto the ball and his short range passing, but others such as his crossing and shooting and creativity are woeful. Those three woeful attributes are broadly areas where you'd expect a winger to be good. However the attributes he does have are abilities we want our current central midfielders to have. Could he play central midfield, perhaps allowing Ben Arfa in a left sided free role and Jonas could then offer good defensive support down that wing when Ben Arfa goes wondering?
  21. No Jonas or Routledge? How Everton play with midfielders running into the box I think we are best lining up with a defence minded midfield. They might not be the best, but give them a tracking back job and they will do it without question. Then let Ben Arfa provide the width in a free role, Nolan is needed because we can't have Carroll as the only goal threat, there has to be a secondary threat.
  22. We lost at home to Blackpool therefore the team must change. Krul Taylor Williamson Coloccini Enrique Tiote Barton Smith Nolan Carroll Ben Arfa But if Carroll needs a couple of weeks to let his ankle fully recover, play Shola.

    James Perch

Probably about the same, but Simpson is a specialist right back. I don't think Perch has specialised in any position, therefore while he could be ok all round defensive cover, he'll have some deficiency wherever he plays.

Is Bonnart still without a club? Irrelevant, we can't play anyone over 21 until January
