  1. Not really, read back to earlier pages, I thought he was a shit signing and nothing has made me change my mind. A waste of £4m. Fans against players from the start. Not a good thing.
  2. I haven't. Sorry for having an opinion on a player. I was referring to BigTRon. Not you.
  3. Sorry but at 26 you should have enough experience and down right sense to know, don't dive in 2 footed on a player. Apparently that's not what Nolan intended to do.
  4. Sounds like people have been waiting for the first slip up to have a go tbh.
  5. Nolan has just apologised to Anichebe.
  6. In the end, he's on a 4 and a half year deal. Time will tell.
  7. Shame, he'd been doing well until that moment. Am dissapointed with him, but I think he'll be the first to apologise later.
  8. We are definitely better than we were during Hughton's last stint...
  9. His usual good game after a rest. He'll go to pot eventually.
  10. This is good. Threat of Raylor will make defences less comfortable as they become less willing to risk a free kick which gives others more time on the ball.
  11. They'll get 10 mins at the end. Plus 10 mins added time at this rate.
  12. Sky showing even less respect for the referees by publically microanalysing time added on.
  13. You may have all ignored my positive reflections of the team in the pre-match thread, but perhaps I can grab your attention with one more positive thought: ALAN SMITH IS NOT STARTING he's on the bench but HE'S NOT STARTING David Moyes might not get the chance to see that he's shit.
  14. How many years have we been saying that now? The scary thing is James said the other week Shola is one of the best in training. I never said anything of the sort!
  15. You can say similar about Michael Owen but people can argue that they don't want him in for the sake of the improvement of the rest of the team. I'd say the same applies for Jonas and Martins right now. Lovenkrands has put Martins out of the picture for now IMO.
  16. Raylor isn't out of position, Bruce said that he wanted to come her so he could play in this position. So one player out of position would be two out of position if you swapped Saylor for Jonas, as Jonas isn't much cop on the right. That position was right back Nah, it was pretty much on the right hand side. And as for the first time this season there was some threat from the right hand side, I'm inclined to keep him there.

  18. You sound like Sam Allardyce's illegitimate and slightly retarded son. No offence meant by the way. Sadly I don't want to see us play in this way, but in the relegation threatened managerless state we are currently in, it is probably the only way we can do it if we want some results. Terrible team playing terrible football getting results is better than nothing.
  19. Thing is with this system is that we are having to play direct due to a lack of a central midfield, we've got Shola up there whose task will be to go for the first ball, and when that fails, you need players around the box to collect the second balls, and Duff, Nolan, Lovenkrands and Raylor are the best for that job. Jonas is much too deep as he likes to build from the back, and Martins needs frequent good passes.
