There is a video of Alan Smith hitting the lamest shot in training by the way.

Chronicle and Mirror and AS all say that we've agreed a fee, and his agents are coming for talks.

No means done and dusted, but if you could place a bet on atthe bookies for next Newcastle transfer, Aimar would be the name in the public domain who I'd put money on.
-
Would prefer Sorin, who has bought out his contract.
-
Imagine the response three years ago if someone from the future told us that Newcastle fans would be dissapointed at the idea of signing Aimar for £7m.

Thread needs a Deep789.

Terry Mac's other son.
-
What would be interesting is if Skunkers and the Mirror come up with the same name completely independent of one another.
-
FWIW, Villareal signed Ibagaza who plays in the same position last week.

Perhaps considering how we only heard about this transfer from those discreet people at Bolton last month, yet signed him a month later without a whisper to the media, it is now possible to appreciate how long it takes to seal a deal these days, and realise that their could be numerous other concurrent deals in the pipeline.

Woo! We've signed someone! All very meh, as I don't know how good or bad he is. Any extra body helps though, we'll just have to wait and see how he gets on.
-
We got overtaken by a 4x4 with the Registration "3 MGP" today on the M3 between Heathrow and Southampton. Chance it could have been Gamst Pedersen on his way to Portsmouth.

Viduka is injured...................... probably. Competition for Viduka should be easy to sign (Derdiyok) I'm honestly not worried about next season. As long as we keep who we've got, it is not going to need major adjustments to get a much better season. anything extra is just a brilliant bonus.
-
Well the midfield is pants for a start. Well as far as I remember, those three kept the team together well as a unit both in attack and defence, and with less intelligent players (Smith) the formation would have collapsed and we'd get overrun.
-
...with the following team?: Harper Beye Faye Taylor Enrique Geremi Butt Barton Owen Viduka Martins This was the team that had us on that unbeaten run. Of course, we have to be able to account for injuries and whatnot, but if that team or similar plays often next season with Keegan as manager, are people really worried that we aren't going to improve on the past two seasons?
-
The only players we've lost since the start of last season are players that were always injured or who never played. No ANC this season either. With all that in mind, with Keegan as boss with the same team, we can already at least ten points better than last season.
-
Yes or no? Here's a valid question: Who cares? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
-
Yes or no?
-
No. It's not interesting. Ok then, swap the word "interesting" with "perfectly valid"

Here is an interesting question: If one of your best players had a £5m release clause, and a middle of the road club (i.e. not Barca, Real, Inter, Manyoo etc) had met it, but you were trying to keep the player by persuading him to sign a new contract, would you deny it?
-
Don't know why people are getting so uptight. This is a Keegan team. We will be aiming to win every game, and see where that policy takes us by the end of the season.

Bit difficult when Wise is in Dubai.

tbf, when fit, Hutton, King, Woodgate and Bale is one of the best back fours in the league.
