  1. In the players entrance as of now.
  2. I just saw a replay of Solano's goal, he kicks the ball out of Niemi's hands and follows through onto Niemi's face and then the ball bounces of his hand and across the line.

  4. Wenger wants Taylor to be banned for life.
  5. shut up mate have you seen the tackle ffs? a yellow at very best You really don't have a clue. Any tackle that causes serious injury always equals a straight red. The whole purpose of red cards in the first place was to keep all challenges safe. With that kind of injury, Taylor would have been off even if he had tackled from the front and got the ball. When injuries are concerned, top flight players should be culpable for their actions on the pitch - they are paid well enough.
  6. Regarding punishment, I'd agree with Mick to some extent, if you commit a red card offence that injures someone, you should be made to sit out for as long as that player up to a maximum of six months, and if the players career is ended you should be made to pay them 25% of your wages for the rest of your football career.
  7. I don't really want to see this based on Brummie's description, so can we say that if someone finds the picture, they post a link to it rather than putting the picture up on here?
  8. Martins back in training according to today's Getty pics. don't know how much he was involved but could make the bench? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/throwaway/martinstraining.jpg Keegan said he will not feature iirc, of course he could be telling porkies. Thats him training separately from everyone else I think - isn't in full training yet.
  9. It's spelt wrong on both past and present jerseys - all part of the joke.

To be honest, what is the difference between a first team coach and an assistant manager?
  11. In the end of the day, all asset depreciation does is reduces the valuation of the company, and not the amount of cash the club has available. In terms of the Ashley empire though, a decreased valuation of a company is a loss to him, as the club is a saleable asset. Player valuation depreciation is difficult to measure though in the end of the day, as there are other major determinants such as demand, and the possibility that they could sign a new contract.
  12. Although I agree with all points made (and even thought the same myself at times when I've seen such an occurence), the people you try to appeal to would never accept such points, even if they were brought to them by Kofi Annan (sp), Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi.
  13. Just Enrique, Cacapa, Edgar, Tozer, Baheng and Krul left by my reckoning.
  14. Thats a pretty brave statement mate considerig we have nobody else that can play in that role. He is a good player and at the beginning of this season when we were winning games he was one of the better players around. Another case of lets find a scapegoat. There are other players to replace in order to improve the squad before I would consider getting a replacement for Milner and they list as: GK 2 x CM 1 x CF Maybe even 2 full backs. These are far more important than replacing Milner as far as I'm concerned. The real reason people are crying for creativity in central midfield is because our wingers aren't. Get someone genuinely creative on the right (as our left hand side is more direct and effective than the right), then we just need to sort our midfield backbone through a decent, physically good DM who doesn't waste possession (Think of a combination of Geremi and Faye), then get a ball playing centre half (unless Kadar is almost ready), then get a physically imposing striker, then get a keeper, then get a left back.
  15. Just so it's clear, the survey is here: http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=1wquudww7u3v1dl396672

    Ha ha

The fact that this list was compiled by Bobby Moncur speaks volumes.
  17. I reckon it was someone with anger issues like Stevie, or Porridge.
  18. Man, I cringe when I'm made to read that again. I didn't even want Hitzfeld, I wanted Hiddink or O'Neill - I was just flaming.
  19. You're not fucking kidding. I don't get it.
  20. To be honest, if someone who knew nothing about either player watched the top 3 performances by Carr and Edgar for NUFC, Carr would look the much better player. I'm saying that as a Carr-hater.
