Agree that those two (inc 1996 shirt) are the best Adidas ones, and probably the best we've had that I can remember. i have this shirt but with the shearer testimonial logo on and the adidas shearer9 lettering on the back (which was used in the testimonial) unfortunately the northern rock has came off after many boil washes and tumble drys!! (im a mucky pup and always spill curry etc down myself so washy things very hot temps)

funny, was just looking at that on his Wiki, including internationals 199 appearances & 72 goals according to that 155 & 50 without internationals every 3 games roughly then ah well, fair play!

not sure how accurate this is but a mate had it on his facebook Gyan = 50 goals in 255 games = a goal every 5.1 games Shola = 42 in 211 games = a goal every 5.0 games
