  1. Cos' he was fucking shit, you shaft.
  2. Lampard's a smashing player, tbh. I only hate him because Ronaldo's a total fucking fanboy.
  3. True, like. Only rubbish like Man Utd, Real Madrid & AC Milan. Man U got rid of him in that period, he won nowt at Madrid until the season he was peripheral and he's now a substitute at Milan who have him on loan. I know, man, but in his prime, Beckham could've gone anywhere in the world, tbh.
  4. Made 30 (25 in the league) appearances this season for QPR prior to his move. Aye, just had a look. Seems pretty good, really.
  5. This has worked for me in the past: http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/5761/voodoodoll.png

  7. Been thinking a bit more about this. Honestly don't think there's much between them, tbh. I still don't think any of them can really grab a game (at international level) and control it or drag a team back into a match. Gerrard can, certainly, for Liverpool but I've never seen him do it for England. Beckham has probably been the most influential at international level, tbh. I can't help but think a player like Roy Keane with his immense presence and attitude would've helped England's cause massively.
  8. I think Ronaldo's as big an arse (*) as everyone else, but the one thing he's right about is Lampard, tbh. Great player, and massively underrated by so many. (*) Joke.
  9. There isn't a facepalm big enough to reply to this, tbh.
  10. I think people like Scholes because as a physical specimen he's not much to look at, tbh. Lampard and Gerrard can run and run and do physical things that Scholes could never do, really, but in terms of football intelligence they're both lacking. Beckham is basically just a brilliant passer and set-piece taker, nowt else.
  11. Doesn't sound like too bad a day that, the result aside.
  12. Actually, it was his cruciate. Not that it changes anything. Or makes the story interesting.
  13. My dad got his leg broken in his first match for his Sunday league side. Never played again.
  14. FWIW, I think it's a great derby but the quality of football usually isn't up to much.
  15. Seriously, the Old Firm just pisses me off no end. It should be one of the most respected and historic derbies in world football, but I just can't bring myself to like them one bit. Both sets of fans are bunch of cretinous twats who more interested in hating each other over religion and politics than they are football - which is probably a good job, because if the OF game at the weekend is anything to go by then the football is of total wank quality. Old Firm is a pretty shite derby as well by all accounts, mainly because it's not about the football. So, like the majority of derbies, then.
  16. Seeing as you're here, Brum, how was your League Cup experience? Don't think I've read anything from you a propros that.

    Internationals

HAVE, MAN! IT'S FUCKING HAVE! Could HAVE. Would HAVE. Should HAVE. JESUS CHRIST, MAN!
  18. I'd invite Walcott and then kick him off the plane just as it was taking off. No chance.
