    Players in public

Also saw Staylor in there a while back.
  2. Elton John. Darn you. Get in! Honestly don't know how I got it. The first name that popped into my head was Uri Geller and then a part of by brain shouted, "No, you twat! It's Elton John." I assume it's for Saturday Night's Alright, right?
  3. What? Name a country that plays as a club team and not a national one. It's easy. Monaco?
  4. I still think the best thing about him is that he leaves Butt out every game tbh. Aye, that's true.
  5. One of the good things about Hughton is that he's willing to make changes if needs be.

    How to Dive

Good that. 'The Gerrard' was absolutely spot on, like.

    Chris Hughton

thats an awful lot of assumption in there Aye. "Chris, can we have a chat about your position?" sounds like, "Chris, you're sacked."

    RIP sale thread.

I don't care. I just want him to go away.
  11. I wonder if Shola would do well at another team, a la Bramble? I know he had that loan at Stoke which didn't work out, but maybe he could do a job somewhere.
  12. Also, we're a very one-paced team at the minute, which isn't helping much. If I'm a centre-half, there's no one in our side who would scare me if they were running at me.
  13. Seems this way to me. Dunno if it's lack of confidence or just bad attitude. I hate to say it, but a Keegan-esque coach would probably help a lot at this time. they've just lost the ability to pass and move and seemed to go back to just booting it up the pitch and hope for the best, which simply hasnt and will not work. but i dont see what can be done about it, the midfield have been woefull the past few games but on paper its the only place where we have talent and if their not working then the team falls apart. i think already our team is looking way too thin and cracks are already starting to show, we had 3 right backs on the pitch on saturday,3 central midfielders ( although it was quite easy to forget about nolan) and 3 strikers, so we ended up with a team that had 4 people out of poistion ( as long as you allow Raylor to be called a right back) Imo, a passing game is based on confidence. If you don't have it, then you're liable to hump long balls up the pitch. I don't think we've had that kind of self-belief for about four years, or more.

  15. Unbelievable statement, considering the striker you champion Drogba scored 7 goals in 47 games in his early career yet you say he is the best striker in the world. Ronaldo saw his potential, even in the womb.
  16. Funny how much respect Sibs gets just for doing his job. Says a lot, really.
  17. What was Pandiani called again? The Hitman or something?
  18. Like how 90% of the folk there are seemingly oblivious to him.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong PM, but it's right that the goal was allowed. The ball interfering with anything of the sort on the pitch (the beachball, a carrier bag, even if it deflected off the referee) is just another part of the 'playing field' and thus there was nothing illegal about the goal. It's just as if the ball bobbled up from a dip in the surface. What if it deflected off a streaker's arse?
