  1. Surely bringing 2 CB's in means they are dealing on Guehi lol Extra cuntishness They have Riad, Richards and Holding on top of the new two CB's coming in.
  2. I liked the pure optimism and joy of August 2005. Luque, Owen and the surprise return of Nobby last minute. That was beautiful. Until it quickly wasn't lol
  3. Is that how Brighton is getting funded now?
  4. I'd imagine any club that receives a bid from us for one of their players, will look at how high we were prepared to go for Guehi and immediatley slap an initial 20-30m on top. Today is surely an absolute non starter for permanent deals.
  5. He wasn't wrong. He didnt need to delete. It moved very quickly from rumour to dismissed and then "done".
  6. Definitely bullocks then!

  8. We got stuck in PSR jail again.. using our one phone call to Nottingham. Not convinced they are willing to bail us out this time!
  9. Chalobah is essentially right sided Lloyd Kelly. Solid squad addition, slight upgrade on Krafth (arguable). Would still leave a need for an upgrade RCB. Surprised we haven't looked younger for a RCB as we have some experience to protect whomever would come in. Schar is good for at least another season.

    Marc Guehi

I simply refuse to believe we live in a world where there aren't a plethora of alternatives to spending nearly 70m on Guehi. Not a dig on Guehi, just simply unfathomable there aren't at least two dozen alternatives within that price bracket. I don't buy it. By I guess neither will the club.
  11. Osula will come good when Howes starts giving him minutes in 6 months time.
  12. In combination with the players inability to play football well enough to hold any type of saleable, marketable value.
  13. Looks like we could use a fence for sorting our transfer dealings.
  14. Impossible to know what's happening behind closed doors and what the end game or mid-long term transfer plan is. Only thing for certain is that we have had constant obstacles, doors slammed in our faces and pathways blocked at every turn, to prohibt bridging the big 10 year plus gap between us and the big 6. Whole PiF own us we are inevitable. It's just a longer game that most people have patience for! Doesn't stop this window seeming like a disaster. I can cope with out a CB with Kelly coming in. No RW is a unfathomable though. We have significantly boosted the youth ranks again and deepened the squad slightly but we haven't significantly improved the starting line up. Feels like falling behind for sure.
  15. Months of people in the press saying we would be going big certainly didn't help. They just left out the word "dissapointment" after big. If we have no RW option, 2+2= we wanted Noni and were waiting until the end of the window and where Chelsea were at. Shame a week or so ago he was surplus to requirements. Now he is invaluable lol

    Joe Willock

Really hoping its just a precaution and his isn't out long. Poor guy.
  18. Lots to be a bit pensive/irked about in our play, gaps we are still leaving in the middle, poor finishing and final balls, but some really nice passages of play at the start and end of the game. All that is eclipsed by the Sandro love at the end. Beautiful stuff and hopefully a real boost for everyone. It made me forget any of the shitness! Praying for a reasonable draw and a breakthrough or 3 or 4 in the transfer market over the next couple of days! Man City away and no signings it is then..
  19. We are doing it for Marc. Don't want him feeling left out if we move on. Understandable. It's a team effort.
