  1. Even the camera is trying to help newcastle fans watching..
  2. Come now you know that none of the three will make it past the bench until they are ready 3 games before the season ends.
  3. Yeah sorry I was being sarcastic. We ALWAYS stick to the plan. We should have adjusted when it wasn't working after the first 10. But here we are.
  4. Always been a fan of VAR Less frequent fan of our defending and defensive midfield.
  5. Pretty delighted for him. As others have mentioned, it is what it is. He wouldn't be getting the same opportunies had we kept him, as we all would have liked. Also think it's fine to feel pissy about losing both Anderson and Minteh, again it's out of our control though. Holding out faint hope their is a buyback clause in both deals lol
  6. Zero problems with this unless his form drops. Inevitable really and it's no different with any of our best players. They should be playing CL. I think everyone is frustrated with the slow progress caused mainly by roadblocks out of our control.
  7. In which we miss 6 clear cut opportunities to equalize.
  8. Completely. Feels like the best performance of the year and likely the worst result lol
  9. We are two or three clinical finishers away from top 6.
  10. Best half of football we have played this season. Nothing we didn't know already. Not clincial enough Pope is great but not world class Burn is a back up CB. Been pleased with the midfield and our passing though.
  11. Enjoyable start. Murphy ffs lol Burn needs to cool down too.
  12. Let's be fair, Mexico is just keeping that top spot warm. They will be third before too long.

    England

Quite like this. Press will likely hound him out the minute results and performances aren't miraculous.
  14. Unlike the media to dress this up as the end of the world and how badly we missed out. Viana may well be fantastic. Sometimes you know when someone has "it". However, equally he has done well at one job. I'm sure had he joined us it would have been played up as a "massive gamble". He lasted 6 months in his first job but has been at Sporting since 2018. Personally I'd still take Mitchell given his breadth of experience, reputation and hunger.
  15. Can't come soon enough. We will sit at the back of the class, waiting patiently and watching the explosion from a safe distance, ready to charge in when it's clear lol
