Looks that way but plenty of time to change. Deals get brokered right up to the last hour. If we want someone we can likely get them. I don't expect anyone other than maybe Lingard. Also have to confirm Targett and Burn yet but they should be good touch Wood.

If he can put another one past Jordan next week, like he did this past Friday we would all be pretty happen.

Newcastle United vs. Everton 08/02/2022 @ 7.45pm (BT)

New manger and new signing bounce. Will be a very tough game. Hope our new boys settle quick. -
Aye, West ham, panic and throw 25m at Manure and they take it laughing.
-
In comparison to their ridiculous demands earlier we haven't met close to the middle have we. Think they don't accept for at least another 2-4m.
-
Clubs agree last minute deals every window, get extensions etc. If we agree a deal with a club the player will come, medical shouldn't be a problem unless the players is going to fail it.
-
To be fair to Ando he always had an exit strategy "if all goes to plan." I think going back in and having bid accepted for Ekitike was surprising. Could be anything.
-
Got few worries with Wood. Got massive worries if he gets injured. We need another player capable of playing up top that will be impactful. Same with ASM and out wide. If we can find someone that can cover up top and out wide even better.
-
We need another pacey wide attacking player ideally a striker and wide player. Absolute roll of the dice without them. If Wood and ASM get injured we are done. Plenty of time for loans, abroad or in the UK but permanents look pretty unlikely now.

This guy has made me hate Paul Merton for decades.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

To be fair, its always a ton of promise but ultimately a let down with Hugo's and us. -
He wants to go to West Ham and can see them paying way over the odds to get him. Looks like they are missing out on a few top attacking targets and they will want to make a statement, even if it's paying way too much for lingard. Their fans would lap it up. If Manure entertain the thought of him going there, that is where he will end up. It's guaranteed European football in a world cup year. By the time we get it here we would have replaced him. All depends on how set against strengthening a top 4 rival they are. They might take the money and mugging off west ham.
-
Bit of panic with Ekitike likely falling through should see us up our bid. Depends whether they crumble for west ham also paying over the odds.

Was just thinking the same. I'm not mentally prepared for this anymore lol -

Going well. Smoke and mirrors. Or just complete bs. Ah well -

Sounds ominous if true. Would stick if I was him. Also not sure he has what we need if he doesn't have confidence he would succeed here right now. -

Exactly. Might not be his first choice, maybe hoping for west ham or a bigger club to come in but we have ageeed terms with everyone well in advance. Reims wanting more money, I can believe. -
Looks like tears on the Zapata front.
-
Not getting much hopes up too much tmrw, so conditioned to disappointment now. Even with money, the inexperience doing deals will make it hard to do a ton of business. Fingers crossed we wake up happy with some sweet news though!
-
If we manage to add a class attacked like Lingard or Zapata then I will say it's been pretty great. We are an injury to Wood away from being in the shit up front again though likewise ASM. A forward that can play wide is a must really.
-
At 5m I'd much rather have him than Nketiah. He is a changed player and works like an ox for the team now.
-
No Davies, no Eustaquio who just signed for Porto, no Hutchinson. No problem. As @Tomato Deuce said poor midfield today but the best two were out and piette also injured. Full on bias but Eustaquio is arguable the best midfield of his role in Concacaf. Kaye is hot and cold and Atiba is done this year. Some potential quality CM players coming through but CB and CM is the soft centre.

Isn't Edwards on the naughty step where PIF/Stavely are concerned? They are pretty in tune with who reported what regarding the takeover and how they covered it. Be shocked if he was getting crumbs from our club at least.
