Almiron is immense today.
-
Must have had more corners today than our entire season combined.
-
All hail Jones!
-
no way.

We look like a different team. It's not like we're doing anything special, there's no intricate interplay or anything but just doing the basics, doing them well, pressing and pushing players forward is a breath of fresh air. It is almost like getting some tactical instructions is useful to the players. Night and day.

Such a talent. His footwork today has been immense. The one on one miss not so much but he is such a great player imo.
-
Almiron should have played him in 5 seconds before that too.
-
Unbelievable miss.

Except that won’t be the case. Of course the usual buddy network will be out in support. That's not the point though it is the silent whisper of doubt that will just eat away amongst anyone with sense and grow.

It is like when Premier league teams get drawn against non-league teams. Sometimes the top league club just smashes them but most of the time the non-league side drags the opposition down to their level. We are constantly dragging opposition down to our level. I have lost count of the amount of teams we have played this season who have looked truly appalling and beatable when they play us. Unlike those non-league cup ties, we rarely play up to the oppositions level and show the hunger to win, invariably just looking even worse. Effort is there today though.

Yeah hard not to read too much into it when the only shot they showed our bench was Jones doing the managers role talking to the players and shouting tactics. Might have been unfortunate timing but won't help the conspiracy theories. Bruce of course expect Jones to be doing this when he identified him months ago.
-
Of course, he can't do as much harm now he isn't in charge.
-
Expectation when there are no fans in the ground and self isolating out of it ffs. For an actual professional that is up against it this is a dream scenario to get on with the job. He embarrasses this club with every day he is still at it. No one is surprised he finally turns on the fans. It's easy when he was never one of them to begin with.
-
To be fair he has never looked like making the cut here, so naturally everyone at the club is surprised by the incident.
-
Aren't his latest quotes about Jones pretty much confirming he shat himself realising that with Clemence and Agnew away he might actually have to do some coaching. Still utter BS that he had any involvement in bringing Jones in IMO.

The question is would any other of the clubs from mid-table (and probably lower down also) up offer new contracts to Clark, Shelvey or Ritchie - the answer would be a big no. It's why this club is a total mess. Absolutely. Clark Yedlin Gayle Shelvey Ritchie Were all on the way out under Rafa. Keep the squad full of shit, don't replace and stand still them while other clubs inch forward is our mantra.

As if we could even run fast.

Good thing carr is back and controlling transfers. What a buffoon of a manager we have.
-
Tomorrow, 3pm announcement. Ok, not funny. Make your mind up.

Let's see if we get a training gallery on .co.uk gaffer jones first day.
-
This is probably spot on about Yedlin. The goals we conceded when the ball was nonchalantly floated over his head to an unmarked winger were numerous. Sometimes his pace saved him but more than not it ended up a goal. He was solid in the championship and half decent the year after. He is yet another player we should have already dumped along with Ritchie, Gayle, Shelvey and I don't mind being overly harsh and likely wrong in saying Clark, who has done well for us this year. Just all limited players that should have been replaced with better. It is no surprise we are always in the mire when we reward them with new contracts instead of shipping them out and upgrading. Having squad depth with limited or aging players that don't kick up a fuss is fine when it isn't approaching half your squad.
-
It is amazing how we have fallen that a vast majority (myself included) would on the face of it think we have done well with King, Choudhury and Willems coming in. In reality has Willems even played a game since he was with us? Choudhury has played barely 6 games worth of football this year and King often flatters to deceive. If fit they could all be smart business but knowing our luck we won't get many games out of any of them.
-
Contract runs until 2026 Almost as epic as his rebirth that leads Senegal to the World cup glory where he is hailed as the player of the year at the tender age of 35. He subsequently leaves us on a free to Fleetwood.

To be fair, all those pics, it is high time he rose to the occasion. They have given him all that dough to get the job done. Quit rolling out the pics, turn the heat up and slice through these buttered up corrupt EPL execs.
