This club potentially has the world at its feet but we always have our own shit on our shoe. Howe asked players to step up and show they deserve to stay with January coming up. It's clear very few of these players will bet on themselves. It is a massive problem. We can't replace as many as we clearly need to. Unless we can buy a spine of leadership that can gel almost instantly it will be near impossible. If we can add 3/4 quality leadership figures to the starting lineup it might inspire a few. You won't get those types of players in January very easily and in our predicament. A CB, CM, attacker and fullback are very bare minimum

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

His head has been in the wrong place for a long time. He needs dropping and a wake up call. An absolute liability right now when we need leadership. -
Nicely done. Update:

Looking forward to saving on my Dazn subscription. That said I've said that 3 years in a row. 3rd times the charm. It's not impossible and other teams are absolutely in the shit too, but every other team looks better than we do in games. New signings and a winning run of a few games and we can stay up. However we can't win 50/50's or a string more than 2 passes together contest at the minute. The damage has been done but it will be much worse after the next run of games.

So much that hasn't made much sense. Clark playing and Fernandez in the cold, Ritchie until he was suspended, willock with Shelvey, ASM predominantly in a role that doesn't get the best out of him. At a minimum Lascelles and Willock have to he dropped. I'd be shocked if they were. Manquillo should be the right choice at RB but he has been fucking woeful. He is still probably the best bet though.

At least Gini knows what he is walking into come January. Will be like he never left. Oh no, there he goes in the distance running in the opposition direction with everyone else linked. Tbf Matty Longstaff was always going to be like a new signing anyway. -

We seem like the only team in the league that consistently never seems threatening . In all the other games this weekend everyone around us looked not just capable but competitive. We are just nowhere near. -

Willock only really works attacking in a CM 3 or playing behind the striker. He is lost like a Longstaff sat next to Shelvey with responsibility. Just looks completely out of his depth deeper. -

Desperately need something from this game. Leicester are there for the taking and we can't string two passes together and are scared to shoot or attack. -

Can't understand Hayden not playing ahead of willock tbh. It's almost give longstaff a go territory it's that bad.
