  1. Expect full on melt central when we haven't signed someone in the first couple of days. Just nice to be excited about the window again.
  2. Don't have a problem with fans being upset. We would be the same if the shoe was on the other foot. At the same time I have no problem with us playing the system if that's what we have done. They should have just cancelled all or none. Just another of the endless list of inconsistencies within the league. Not really sure what Southampton think they will achieve with an appeal. Nothing wrong with them doing so if they think it's been handled unfairly but the league already opened pandoras box.
  3. Larin was always an out and out striker in Orlando and upon arriving in Turkey. He seemed to have imploded there, didn't really hit the ground running but also didn't get a fair shake. lost his place and it took a loan to get his goal scoring touch back in Belgium. Last season was the revelation though, being pushed out wide completely rejuvenated him. He has become a completely different animal and his all round game is infinity better for it. He always had a nack for scoring goals and being in the right place at the right time (other than a torrid spell for Canada, prior to Davies, David, Arfield, Hoilett etc. Coming on board, when the weight of the nation was unfairly on his shoulders). In many ways his all-round play for the team is better than David's imo. Could see him being useful on the right of a top three and possibly through the middle. He would be a great cheap addition for cover. Unlike David I am not sure Larin will develop more but who knows. He is still young for a striker.
  4. Back when it was a means to an end. He reached the end and is throwing his toys out of the pram like a diva now he has "made it". Will be interesting to see the situation develop but doubt he goes anywhere anytime soon.
  5. We will end up with the PL version of the WWE Gauntlet match. 19 matches in 19 consecutive days. But No DQ and the refs and VAR in the rest of the PL's corner.
  6. He would be a perfect Wilson replacement. Wonder it we will be actually looking for a target man though. David is definitely a poacher and more a false 9. Also likely well out of reach with arsenal, Liverpool and real all heavily linked and with longstanding interest. Larin was linked today who also isn't really a traditional 9 either. Has been rejuvenated in a front 3 out wide. Would have taken him under Ashley. We can probably buy better.
  7. Ramsey scares me. His injury record is so abysmal. Great gamble if he isn't the only CM coming in. Ramsey and Gini might work. For us and howe, getting premier league experience/players that can hit the ground running is pivotal. It looks like we could bring in a few pieces this window. We cant afford to accommodate players that are longterm projects. Trippier would be huge for this reason too. All that said, I'd bloody love Sule and Botman!
  8. Foden is absolute class. Brentford should stay up with ease.
  9. Not least when your his dad's nephew and you've heard nothing.
  10. One of my all time favourites. His dodgy streak towards the end never tarnished the class act he was on and off the pitch. Hope to see him back at SJP next year.
  11. Not a surprise with the shit playing in front of him. Needs to shake the errors. Should do us to the summer though.
  12. 2 CB's 2 Full backs 2 Mids 2 strikers (I guess one can be Lingard as a secondary striker/winger/10) If we have as rumored 6 lined up that's probably sacrificing a full back and a midfielder. Injuries might change that though. Premier league should up the registered squad size for covid.
  13. All these Manure links and no one realised we are actually signing Telles and playing him upfront.
  14. It's adding to the PLs problems but it makes sense with squads so stretched. Reschedule the Everton match. Any squad is going to be fucked playing 3 games in 7 days, let along with covid. Not sure where Everton are up to in their covid crisis. I assume they will be magically back to full strength in time for Thursday just to rub things in.
  15. Don't suppose I will have too many opportunities to post this type of thing so I thought I'd make the effort. Played well today. Beauty of a play that should have won us the game.
  16. Definitely better but still sloppy and off the pace at times. It's a glimpse of rediscovering the form and potential shown under rafa though, which is promising.

Not least saying it days before we can reinforce the squad and potentially buy a better defence.
  18. Still have a fools hope for the lad but the mental side of his game has regressed so much. Bringing in two new CB's is essential over the next few weeks.

Seemed like it. Seemed a Proper triggered reaction. Seemed like someone that doesn't normally get confrontational losing his shit in the most passively aggressive polite way possible.

Tim Sherwood being a cunt in surprise shock. "Don't really get the hype, he has played alright but they now have a striker playing in midfield thats not helping up front and still can't hit the barn door." "They have no chance, absolutely no chance. You can't stay up with the players he has in defence."

Kin hell absolute amateur hour! Longstaff sticking up for him at least and having a go. Nice to see Joe talking, his English is slowly coming. Legend at the minute.
