Either way, if Bruce is too inept to coach the best out of him or it is just a case of getting him back to fitness it is best for everyone involved. If Schar wasn't injured he would likely already be out the door. If Bruce could only coach the best out of our players we would have a half decent team. As it is probably bringing in the bog standard, average Bobby Brit's would likely play better under Bruce than a badly coached Schar does.

For West Ham: Would not drop Almiron ... Joelinton definitely not a premiership number 9 ... but could play number 10 behind Wilson ....or out wide. Would like to see Joelinton in number 10 role just behind Wilson with Miggy one side and ASM the other. Miggy possibly our best number 10 as great fitness levels and can surge forward link up midfield and attack. Just need to try these variations and see which works the best. I would like that. Reckon we instead start with Ritchie and Joelinton on the bench.

I think everyone would agree he isn't a number 9 central forward. Problem is I also have no idea where he fits. He is a luxury player without the luxury. There is likely talent there but I doubt Bruce and co. will find it, that we set up to utilize him or can afford to give him chances in another relegation avoidance year.

Nah he is in his best place behind the striker. Wilson will be a much better fit than Joelinton or even carroll/gayle were. Much closer to his Atlanta time with martinez in front. The central mid behind him is more of a worry. Hayden will have to do an awful lot of work.
