If anything rice has studs up on Hayden there.
-
lots of running horrific first touch. Looks unfit. Not spectaculty to put it kindly. Also playing very inverted which is leaving west ham acres of space and manquillo problems down the wing.
-
should he solid off the bench with hopefully tired west ham legs.
-
Crazy seeing a striker playing for us that likes to have a shot and not pass instead. Albeit not many on target yet but Wilson looks solid.
-
Fair play Fredricks.
-
Hendrick looks like he just reported for pre season.

If we are signing anyone else they have to be under 21's likely. Cant see us shifting enough players to sign anyone older. 25 man squad (matty longstaff doesnt count towards 25) GK: Gillespie, Dubravka, Darlow CB: Schar, Lascelles, Fernandez, Clark RB: Manquillo, Krafth LB: Dummett, Lewis CM: Shelvey, Hayden, Longstaff x2, Hendrick Wingers: Fraser, Almiron, ASM, Ritchie Strikers: Carroll, Wilson, Joelinton, Gayle 2 more from: Maybes: Murphy, Yedlin, Muto, Atsu, Barlaser I guess Gayle could be left off the list if he wont be fit until January? Can see Murphy being included and maybe Yedlin to make the 25. Either way I think we are unlikely to see any more incomings unless they are U21s.

We're actually attacking. On the subject, I find it difficult to infer this puts the deal back on. More Ashley is fuming and wants compensation. I mean I no other industry would you see a business takeover blocked in such ways. Ashley can’t sell his asset because of a third party quasi regulator Exactly. PIF could be calling for a review of the decision or looking into legal action, maybe they are but this is just Ashley trying to get some compensation. 17m isnt enough apparently. Sometimes it takes a dick to fuck an areshole. *insert Team America gif*

The Chronicle is playing it off as getting him a years loan to get games and fitness again. Either way, if Bruce is too inept to coach the best out of him or it is just a case of getting him back to fitness it is best for everyone involved. If Schar wasn't injured he would likely already be out the door. If Bruce could only coach the best out of our players we would have a half decent team. As it is probably bringing in the bog standard, average Bobby Brit's would likely play better under Bruce than a badly coached Schar does.

For West Ham: Would not drop Almiron ... Joelinton definitely not a premiership number 9 ... but could play number 10 behind Wilson ....or out wide. Would like to see Joelinton in number 10 role just behind Wilson with Miggy one side and ASM the other. Miggy possibly our best number 10 as great fitness levels and can surge forward link up midfield and attack. Just need to try these variations and see which works the best. I would like that. Reckon we instead start with Ritchie and Joelinton on the bench.

He keeps his Newcastle contract in his pocket and never wants to let go of it.
-
We missed out on top target Rob Dickie to QPR. Maybe there is truth to the Marcao rumours.
-
To be fair I am sure it is at least as much of Lejeune wanting out as it is Bruce wanting him to leave. Shame to see him leave.

Klopp is pretty anal about playing time with loanees. That said it looks like they are willing to sell Brewster. I think its more likely as joeyt says he gets bought by one of the above or similar. Nketiah is one of the only 3 strikers Arsenal have, of the other two one has been out of form and the other they play wide. I don't seem him moving out on loan or otherwise being a starter. Maybe if they bring a couple of big strikers in, either way he is highly rated and regarded there. More likely to shift Lacazette if they bring more in. I think we are done after Lewis if Holding is blocked.
-
I agree with the past repeating itself. I do however feel different and more positive than the past as we now know for sure he wants out and will sell. I think it's only a matter of time until he goes. 2036 maybe, unless he changes his mind with the fan lip service and settles back in for the long haul.

Fuck me, what a tool. Also wtf has happened to mourinho to put up with that shit.
-
Has always been said countless times if the opportunity is there to get a good younger prospect in they will do it, regardless of whether it's a window early or not. We desperately need a DM in addition to Hayden. Longstaffs, Hendrick and shelvey wont work.
-
Well I think he chose us because he wanted to be closer to home in Scotland, so that probably ruled out most other clubs tbh. Link up with Wilson and guaranteed minutes was always going to be a big pull too.

You can actually see some of the old "Newcastle United" lettering on the stand roof, its not even been cleaned properly before putting the new italics with Sports direct logos. So cheap. No irony that Newcastle United was downsized with the partnership with sports direct!

Deeney and Muto on facebook bitching.

Player in giving positive first interview shocker..but he does come across genuinely excited to be here. Aunt and uncle are toon fans.

I think everyone would agree he isn't a number 9 central forward. Problem is I also have no idea where he fits. He is a luxury player without the luxury. There is likely talent there but I doubt Bruce and co. will find it, that we set up to utilize him or can afford to give him chances in another relegation avoidance year.
-
Nah he is in his best place behind the striker. Wilson will be a much better fit than Joelinton or even carroll/gayle were. Much closer to his Atlanta time with martinez in front. The central mid behind him is more of a worry. Hayden will have to do an awful lot of work.
