Rolan seems far more plausible than Austin. Can't see us playing with both Austin and Mitrovic on the pitch. Rolan could fit in a number of different places though and brings some much needed pace into out attack. That is unless we get both Austin and Rolan and shift cisse out. Which seems highly unlikely. Every team needs a decent pool of 4/5 strikers to compete on all fronts, an unknown concept for us recently.

we'll reluctantly give you gouffran back in part-ex for this lad, though it breaks our hearts to do so would he be the third ex-bordeaux "attacker" after gouffran and obertan? history bodes well if we go for him Feel sorry for Gouffran he was almost useful in a Sibierski kind of way. Man did we ever completely break him covering him into some kind of useless LB/LM central defensive winger type of nonsense. Can't see any return for him.

Will "hopefully" be confirmed "at somepoint over the weekend" according to the chronicle. Lots of discussion still to do apparently. That said they also say he might not be signed in time for Sundays game so "could not feature"

Ultimately no, I don't want to see sissoko sold. Price is good but it's not like we will use that money and buy a replacement, so would rather keep him and see the benefits of him around a few better players and coaches.

Aye, people crying out for a winger next should be made to watch that. Probably 2 CB's and a versatile FB required plus the forced ejection of Williamson and Taylor. Problem is you usually need two wingers. One possibly injury prone one isn't enough. Don't think anyone is crying out for a Winger before a CB tbf both are sorely needed plus the others you suggest. -
Get this bugger signed up for life. What a beauty. Scared he will head the sterling route but out of contract.

This. Why our managers seem to rate him I've got no idea. Like every other young player we have produced bar Aarons. Hype, praise then an awful lot of nothing. Doesn't help being surrounded by pap when they get a chance. -

Dont agree there like. Clearly playing from the back, short passes, keeping it on the deck more. However end product is still the same, f***ing dreadful. Zero threat upfront, toothless and careless km midfield and woeful in defence. -

Well, yeah.... I mean, if that's the case play it behind closed doors. Embarrassing to put this kind of performance on public display where people will pay money to watch us perform. Does no-one any good and causes more negativity than anything else. Granted I am reading a bit too much into a pre-season friendly -

McClaren has been pissing and moaning about the tour, looks like he doesn't care about this match either. Looks like he has told players to just use it as a fitness test but take care of themselves and stay injury free to get home. Honestly madness neither Williamson or Lascelles are playing. Bit dissapointing like for fans that travelled or stayed up late to watch it. Its basically a training match. -

Honestly 8 months ago I would have had a shit fit at the thought of selling sissoko and cisse. I'd give them away tbh. Absolute shite. -

Did Ferguson lose a bet of sleep with a mcclaren family member to be this humiliated. About the least suited player to put at CB on the pitch. -
