QPR 2 - 1 Newcastle United - 16/05/15 - Post-match reaction from page 23

This is rancid. -
club deserves to be docked points, we are like boxers that refuse to attack and just amble around the ring trying to defend.
-
Only people that relegation hurts is us. The "happy Clappy brigade" will turn up regardless and Ashley could care less. The ground would still be full. I don't know why anyone thinks relegation will potentially help. Even if he does sell up, the potential investors if we are a championship club could be just as damaging to the club, coupled with the fact there is even less chance of us bouncing back up than last time.
-
Few things to ponder that could aid or hinder us - Spurs last home game of the season vs Hull - QPR last home game of the season vs us - Manure almost certainly have nothing to play for vs Hull - Leicester thankfully have all to play for vs Sunderland. - Fat Sam already being hyped up by the press to relegate us on a revenge mission with a motivated West Ham.

When he stopped shutting it and remembered to get forward we saw some Jonas of old. You could see the conflict when he just sat deep but needed to be coming forward and overlapping. When he did we looked dangerous. Regardless he put in a shift other players should look up to. Happy to see him there again at QPR but really overlapping and coming forward. He is not a defender but why shackle his only good attributes so he is next useless in defence and attack. Proud of Jonas and what he has come through yet still puts a shift like that in.

Huge point today. Had to be three but one will raise spirits and draw a line under our last 8. Far from out of it. As mentioned can see Hull still pulling a shock against spurs or manure. Going down to the wire. Big game against QPR and likewise watching the spurs and Sunderland games next weekend. If Leicester pick up a win next week and we grab a draw Sunderland are back in trouble. Still, more optimistic after the hull result and not losing today. Janmaat back and hopefully cisse, aarons and dejong could be huge boosts.

Might not get better if we stay up. Certainly won't get better if we go down. Ashley has the money rolling in either way. Almost certain we won't come back up if we go down this time.
-
Heard we are just playing skins to save money.. Still charging 50 quid in the club shop though.
-
We are fooked. Only team that won't pick up a point from now until the end. West Brom will smell blood this weekend.
-
Those that think Ashley will leave if we get relegated again need a check. He is laughing all the way. Knowing that the crowds will be just as big every week with less expenditure and a fire sale to boot. Until someone steps in with a decent offer for the club he will stick. He's making money and will continue to make money from us.

Devastating news. Heart goes out to them all. No age 34.
-
Nailed on now. So underwhelming so predictable. Let's hope he does a better job with us in the championship than Derby, where by all accounts he inherited a great set up from his predecessor. Sickening stuff. Sickening still how little I am starting to care.
-
That's it for us now. We are done.
-
Man management.. can handle the pressure etc.. going well john.
-
But I thought no other coach could have done better than Carver in this situation. Does not compute.
-
Doesn't look like we are picking up another point so it's a 9 from me. All depends on the Mackems.
-
Fits the mould.. exchange the natural failure to the experienced failure. Ashley clearly wants to destroy us completely.
-
Nice look at John Carvers championship team for the forseeable future.
-
We deserve to go down. But if we can't get points from our last four fixtures that will really cement that notion. West Brom and Ham are both safe and have nothing to play for. Playing them at home we have to get something. Huge huge weekend of football ahead that could change everything.
-
Why would it. The only thing that will hurt Ashley is the club not making him money. Fans will still be out in droves to watch us in the championship again.
-
We are the only team with no fight, no fight at all. With the teams we will surrender points to in our last few fixtures I'd say relegation is highly likely. Cue fire sale and who we will be left with I'm the squad threads. Won't be much different than today's squad minus dejong, Janmaat, kruL, Cabella and perez. We won't come back up this time.
-
Looking at the table and our fixtures I think we will fluke a point, even so hull won't pick up anymore points, we will probably survive by the skin of our teeth.
