Ironically he actually looked like the player he could have been when Kinnear was here before. Actually fired a rocket up his ass and Shola was all over the pitch, looked mean and the constant goofy grin was not in sight. Been pedestrian ever since and even more infuriating to make up for it ever since.

Bent has the pace and PL experience to do it, though. I don't mind Bent. I think Gomis can offer us more though in terms of fitting into the team and playing with Cisse if we go 4-4-2, however it is a gamble and we would have the obligatory Pardew bedding in period where he refuses to play him even when he looks better than the players he starts.

Same place Bent would, fighting for a starting spot with Cisse.

Tbf we need another Keeper. Makes sense if we get him.

More than likely Lyon pushing Cardiff to buy like they are with Gomis to us.

Not versatile position wise but can offer more to the team than Bent in playing style and playing alongside a strike partner.

Shame Pardew has a boner for Bent. Gomis and Remy makes the most sense with our current squad and given their versatility and styles.

Maybe there is truth in the Kone links which is holding up the deal.

Get both and Remy.. then shift Shola and put campbell on loan for the year. Never going to happen. Would take Bent, Gomis and Sinclair though.

Having created earth in seven days he is knackered. He has a lot of peoples prayers to listen to and answer as well so give him a break.

This is bloody great if true. Had resigned myself to him leaving. Get Gomis and Remy.

Just people trying to pressure the board into action. First Pardew, now the local press. Fact is more worryingly for the former.. no one seems to know what the hell is going on upstairs. They might be working hard and close to multiple signings. Likewise they might be getting jerked around by other clubs. They might also be sat fingers firmly up each others ass trying to play hardball with other clubs or worse not even that worried by the can of evaporated milk we have left boiling in an inch of water for hours. Shame it is us the fans that have to clean up the destructive mess and pay for the renovations.

We will lose out. Questionable if we are even interested in the first place. Think Pardew is interested in anything we can get. Board aren't arsed.
