I think its getting increasingly hard for us. Our team has being doing a ridiculous job in negotiating for players, however we now have a reputation for it which means clubs are getting more and more prepared to deal with us. I think all hard business involves a little dirty dealing to work.

Thought we would go with someone pacier and skillful that could fit into a 4-3-3 out wide or off Cisse/Ameobi/Ba in a 4-4-2. Obviously harder to say who (Hoilett seemed possible). Not concerned with Pards comments, he doesn't want journalists bugging him everyday which detracts from the tour and the team. Obviously he would be less involved as he hardly needs to sell the club or introduce himself to Carroll. It is a simple deal on that end, just thrashing out details which is a boardroom level process. Right thing to distance himself imo.

Big pre-season for him and Abeid. If they keep on in this vein I think that will end our interest in Anita. Can see them both off on loan otherwise.
