Think we have to take what we can get with some of the dross in our squad. Sure this will be like the Wood move with at least option to buy.

https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-transfer-karl-darlow-8059173 Not sure it adds much but reckon this is a goer.

Watford did just sign another striker though.

I simply don't see how Everton can sell for less than the 50m they turned down a few months ago. To compound that, I don't see how we could justify spending 50m on him. Not least when we are being so calculated in the market. Just seems like a non starter and easy link for the press to make. He has been liking Instagram posts saying he is going to newcastle though apparently lol

Mulligan.

Happy if he stays until the summer, happier if he is replaced. Got zero complaints about Shelvey under Howe, unfortunate fitness aside. Certainly others I would shift first but freeing up the wages and getting more for him now than the summer is probably enticing. Would prefer Ritchie, Lewis, Fraser, dummett and darlow move first.

Likewise hope Wood returns in the summer rather than us signing Osimhen. Get some PL proven up the team.
-
This thread will be hilarious in a year if we actually signed him. For now I think the thread jinx will work.

Bloody Anglians always trying to reform and split from the norm to push their own agenda. Typical.

Dan-Dan Juma to Everton sorted according to various. Cue more Gordon to us rumours and then Chelsea signing him for 300m.
-
Still haggling according to this: https://www.90min.com/posts/flamengo-standing-firm-newcastle-continue-talks-brazilian-wonderkid We offered 14m, they want 18m. If thats true you would think we must be able to meet in the middle and get it done.
-
Add 10m to that and I think you are right. Problem is they turned down a 50m bid for him less than 6 months ago. I don't see them being able to sell him for too much less than that, undisclosed fee or not!
-
Late for the bus to be fair... or they are doing that thing where the bus pulls away a bit each time he gets close to the door to get on.
-
Absolutely amazing. A good lad and best of luck to him. Hope he keeps forest up.
-
Much like Fraser he is incredibly close to being great but isn't and likely will never have that breakthrough consistency and end product. I'm happy to keep him in the squad though for at least the rest of the season. Never say never too, plenty ruled out Miggy and Joe.

They turned down 50m from Chelsea in the summer didn't they. Would be hard for them to take less now surely. Harder for us to justify that expenditure too. I still think he has bags of potential and would absolutley be a Howe player. The Fraser upgrade. Reportedly a very hard worker on and off the pitch. Just absolutely not worth it for the money. We could surely get better for half the price.
-
15m plus the loan fee (likely 2-3m)? Absolutely mental business if we manage to get that.
-
Amazing given he was almost written off and looking for a move out of contract not long ago.

The Sun are running with us being back in for DCL. I could certainly see us trying to take advantage of the situation at Everton. The fact Gordon was linked heavily before and Everton being in for Danjuma is an easy story to put together. I wouldn't be upset at Gordon or DCL. We can do better than both but if Eddie wants them I know he can work wonders and they both have raw talent and tons of potential. Everton desperately need money.

Not convinced Skjelbred is considered U21 anymore. But let's go with it.
-
Ah could be right. I missed that. Too bad.

We have been linked to Franca regularly since December to be fair. I hope we bring him, Perrone (now the Man City deal fell apart) and Fresnada in. Then one actually ready made starter. We aren't getting four players in though lol.
-
Been linked to him for a while. Definitely think this is a goer if we are close to what Flamengo want for him. Can play on the left wing, a 9, or 10. Won't take up a squad place due to his age.

I remember one of the resident cherries fans, that popped up after Howes appointment, telling us eddie is absolutely ruthless when he needs to be and sentiment won't get in the way of improving the squad.
