Longstaff, like half the squad needs a rest and recovery. He has been run into the ground. Bit like miggy today, Murphy is somehow making me wish Miggy was on. Over the past year even when poor, we have noticed certain things being worse in the middle without Longstaff. He is frustrating at times but he has covered a lot of ground and helped Bruno in the past. Too many players are fatigued at this point.

Guess that "playing for your futures" motivation comment from Howe either didn't work or everyone wants out. Bit worrying. I'd of hoped for a reaction here after the weekend. We look rock bottom in confidence. Zero interest or idea how to move the ball. Shocking.

While we have seen hints of that with Burn, it's the total opposite of what all of the Bournemouth fans told us when he came. They said he was absolutely ruthless when it came to replacing favourites when an upgrade was needed. Makes me wonder if it's more the fact our hands have been tied by FFP and we can't shift enough players or get the upgrade ones he wants in ?
