  1. Clearly Johnny Wilkinson has been taking our shooting practice Luke Kanes penalty practice.
  2. I appreciate we are getting less clinical with every game lol. We are doing most things right. Some sloppy passing aside, rain doesn't help. The floodgates have to open soon though and things work for us in front of goals! Surely! Willock though

Franca plays across the park and striker. Definitely room for both. Not least because he doesn't take up a squad place.
  4. Regardless of Gordon we are still short up top and DM from summers list. I think we can survive at RB until the summer with manquillo and krafth soon returning. We definitely need 2 in though if we are serious about maintaining top 4 or even Europe. If Gordon is one then we still need another striker or DM. If Isak or Wilson get injured we can push Big Joe up but that leaves a midfield hole. Likewise he has played ASM up top or we could do something with a false 9. Shelvey is close to returning which gives us extra backup in midfield. Ideally we would just get a wide forward that can play in the centre and a DM. Gordon isn't either.

Only top half. Meetings on zoom.
  6. They get first refusal on Big Joe in return. That's fine. We just put a 200m price tag on him

I'd be happy with adding him tbh. Think we can probably do better at the price but he has huge raw potential, is premiership ready (although that notion is an exaggerated cliche) and we have coaches that can help him realize it. 30-35m with add ons to 40-45m is likely what I think they would settle on. I would be dissapointed if we went north of 40m on him.
  8. Aye. If villa are interested it could definitely be goading them into action.
  9. Gun to my head, I'd rather we spent 35m on Gordon than McTominay. 65 spent on both though... ..Living the dream.
  10. 30-35 rising to 40m is what I would expect. Don't think he is worth that but it is indicative of the Chelsea dictated market. There is definitely zero reason we should be willing to offer more than last time we enquired. His stock has fallen if anything. I expect we will send feelers out to say the offer still stands, just a few million less. Take it or leave it.
  11. His quote at the weekend after Palace about having nothing new to report on, to his knowledge, because he had been preparing for the game also means he is expecting something could be imminent. Good news. Straws in vice grip mode.
  12. Can't see it being anyone other than Dyche coming in at Everton. No coincidence he was at their game watching.
  13. I think we will get one first team starter in. Maybe a youth or two as well.
  14. Biesla would be a great shot in the arm IF the players reacted. Could also be a complete disaster. Like rafa he would work the bullocks off the players. Dyche on an interim probably makes the most sense.
  15. Feel dirty cheering for arsenal.
  16. They will when Chelsea slap in a 100m offer next week. As for the rest of you piping off about the likes of Thuram and maddison.. you'll get McTominay and Gordon and you will be grateful.
  17. I don't see him as a work rate guy, that said if Howe brought that out of him he would be an animal. Any games I watched of him in France, especially early on, he was pretty anonymous and kind of ambled around. Didnt help his team mates didnt pass to him for the first few months. He is pretty clinical with the right service though. Don't think he comes cheap enough to be high needs for us this window.
  18. Don't think so. He is the perfect Wilson replacement and technically can play false 9 or AM but I don't think that is a priority or ready made fit for where we are right now.
  19. Not the end of the world but points were there for the taking. We still aren't clinical enough. We need more training focus and bringing in 1 or 2 more players with that quality.
  20. Wonder what Everton fans thoughts are? Well tbf I don't care but are they acceptant of their plight or will they whine and hound dyche out from the start?
