  1. That’s absolutely mental. Ref couldn’t wait to point to the spot.

Imagine the logistics in actually trying to fix matches on the level they think we are. All of Spurs” players and Ange would need to be in on it. The thought of Levy throwing games for us

    Alexander Isak

I just wish he was better than Ross Stewart.
  4. Do DSquared do half and half scarves?

    St James' Park

Were there a load of crisp packets swirling around the pitch?
  6. Run it sustainably and use it for PR purposes. Exit if a really strong offer comes in. There has been nothing stopping PIF building a state of the art training ground and investing even more in refurbishing the stadium. I’m particularly surprised a second screen hasn’t gone up on the L7 Milburn SW wall, for example.
  7. Same. 8th in the league alone shouldn’t be enough to qualify for Europe. It’s mid table.
  8. 10/1 for Liverpool to win the competition. Tempting.
  9. It's about protecting their brand more than anything. If you have the standing in your particular field of retail you get to dictate who can stock your product. Yes, it can be argued that it's anti-consumer but Ashley has a well-established reputation of trashing brands to enhance his own with little care for the collateral damage along the way. We're all very acutely aware of that. Why take the risk of him slashing tens of percentage points of RRP when you can control where your product goes with people you trust? You're going to sell it anyway. About 15 years ago or so, grocers were tearing the arse out of video game pricing (new releases at around £20-£25 when the trade price was £30+ ex VAT). One of the big grocers wanted to do the same with Red Dead Redemption on Xbox360, Rockstar got wind of it and refused to stock them for the first two weeks of release. If you've got a product that's going to sell anyway, you mitigate your risk of any pricing damage for long-term sales.
  10. It's taking far too fucking long, like.
  11. No way. As "clear and obvious" as it gets imo. I'd say exactly the same if Schar/Botman/Burn/Lascelles had done that. I'd be calling them all of the thick cunts under the sun. It's schoolboy stuff.
  12. That Gabriel incident is outrageous. How the fuck isn't that a penalty?
  13. This will be why the kid sitting next to me against Everton asked how much I paid for my ticket. Should have cottoned on at the time but I'll know now. I'd never buy a ticket for SJP (or for an away league game) from a reselling site. It's a joke that there's loads on there and an absolute disgrace if they're being sold by the club. I did buy from a reseller for Dortmund away (and would for a cup final if the price was right) but those are special cases.
  14. Nowt more certain than if Ashley did get his hands on the shirts for £16-odd, he’d sell them at £30 max just to spite the club.

Thought those were sickly more than anything. Apparently the Seabrooks are back (they were discontinued a few years ago originally)

Are they hot? Hottest crisps I’ve had were those Seabrook once’s they brought out a while back. Don’t think they do them anymore though.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Man, Chiesa is up there with my most-wanted signings.
  18. That picture was fucking hilarious.
  19. RIP Joe. Can we get a quote from Simon Bird?
  20. Another big 6 team protected.
  21. Got to be a better angle than that one to see what Maddison did.
