I think we’d potentially play that a number of ways - 1) you sign a young player that still is developing and comes in situationally, rotates etc. 2) you sign an older one with experience in Europe, who is OK with a limited role 3) you sign an elite DM but realize that means our 8s are Bruno and Sandro and that further pushes Joelinton, Willock, Longstaff, Anderson and Miley to some extent down the order. while all are conceivable I really haven’t a clue how we will do it long term, but I trust the recruitment team so much that I don’t even care what direction they go. Howe always seems to be for evolution and change year over year and Ashworth seems to be very meticulous in his succession planning (by evidence of this summer)

Random, but interesting - Umbro (when they went all "tailored by Umbro") didn't like how some players wore long sleeves and some wore base layers and the kit would look different between those players....so for Man CIty's away kit they did the below. Where they basically made the long sleeve kit look like the same as the base layer kit. Very odd/unique/cool IDK. For us, I'd like long sleeves but would like for the base layer to not look vastly different from someone wearing long sleeves!

Yeah, I'm with that. I think people need to realize there are differing opinions, differing expectations, and that's simply a part of life and football. Just want to be clear here, are people saying you can't really critique a performance, irrespective of the opposition - early, middle, or late in the season because of what player(s) have done in the past or currently? It’s not meant to educate people on football 101, the pyramid, etc or something one could google quickly however I agree that a 5-10 min montage could explain the main idea on the history, the city, the pain, the stakes, etc. although I’m quite certain this documentary is really for casual fans of football who have some sense about us and a quick way to get us out there in the main stage. oh and ya, there’s not a chance they’ll be able to mention Ashley as he’d be in court.
