People seem to completely forget city are playing their first home match of the season, despite what you think of their fans and support. It’s their home comforts under the lights. Whatever happened in the last week is completely irrelevant.

They played their first match at home under the lights. That not have anything additional? If we’re at home it’s a different match, ala last season. If it’s away from home like last season we were deep into the season - so hard to compare this versus last. It’s not comparable.

Foden runs rings around Maddison. Foden is generally one of the best in the league and it’s baffling he’s often sat on the bench.

Good to get this the fuck out the way too. Good learning for Howe. Which is exactly what this club needs this early - Howe identifying and obsessing over fixing frailties to a team like City.
